Luke's Hell

Lulu preggers for #4

Logan is the father of everyone (10 year marriage and counting)

Children Laura (10), Scotty (6), Baldwin (weak stomach, 9 mos)

Lulu & Logan off for date night, so Luke has to babysit

Lucky - cop, covering Luke's shift so he can be home with the grandkids

Mac - Luke's mini-golf buddy

Scotty - Casino owner, flashy playboy, international whatever

Tracy (she did look good) - Luke's ex-wife (said he left her one too many times); married to Scott, calling him lover, etc.

Leslie - dancing around with an old style "boombox" on her shoulder, Disco was back

cigars, but no working lighters; Brandy, that wouldn't pour out of the bottle

Skye finally asks him if he knew this would be the results of his life, would he do it all again - Luke's response was yes, his life was Heaven. Skye looks very disappointed, and walks away, Luke enters the white light again and regains consciousness. He's on the operating table, and Leo's saying "I can't fix this heart, he hasn't got one". Skye again leaves over him to ask if it's worth it, then Luke's in his hospital room opening his eyes, and Skye is the first person he sees. (Ugh)

Meanwhile, in the waiting room...

Tracy has just about had enough. She yells at Scott, wondering why he was even there. Bobbie yells at Tracy to stop, she called Scott. Bobbie says she realizes Tracy is scared, but she's not the only one. Tracy yells, of course, who am I, only the one who's been with Luke through all of this, saved his life.. She doesn't even know what Skye's doing there.

Monica comes out to Tracy and says she's sorry. Tracy was right (Monica said that to Tracy a few times), she should never have gone in to the surgery. Tracy just stares at her. Leslie tells Monica she did the best she could. Bobbie tells Monica they appreciate everything she did to help Luke. But Monica is only looking at Tracy. Says "you were right" again. Said she believed her professional detachment could get her through the surgery, but everywhere she looked she saw Emily. Monica admits she froze, that Dr. Julian got there to undo her damage, but when she left they were losing Luke. She again apologizes only to Tracy, and Tracy says "Don't ever speak to me", then walks away. Lucky grabs her and says, "Dad is not dead, yet." Tracy just shakes off his arm and continues to walk away.

In the end, when Luke wakes up in his hospital bed, Skye says something like, "he's awake", and Tracy says "thank God" (I think).

My comments...

Tracy finally got to yell at Bobbie. Long time coming, and not enough. Liked that Monica focused only on Tracy and not the others (proper thing).

Luke's Hell really was over the top, which is probably what they were going for. Not enough Tracy, and what Skye was doing there when Luke woke up, rather than Tracy, bothered me. I realize it was continuity, from "hell" to the operating room to his hospital room, but there was just way too much Skye. Tracy didn't really get to spend any time with Luke, just touch his forehead.

I don't know.... I'll have to see it again to see if my initial feelings were acurate, but I wasn't really liking today. I had hoped that yesterday was preparing today for a huge JE payoff, and we just didn't get it. Seemed way too choppy. I'm glad they are balancing the show... a little Maxie, a little Skate, a little Zaccharas, but the editing wasn't smooth. The end was just too fast.

So, you all get to wait for the wonderful Nex to get the clips, and then you can make your own judgement calls.

^^^ You're not alone. What a rip off. Esp. the ending, as I mentioned in my other post. Gah. Just gah, gah, gah. I echo was you said. Not enough Tracy in the dream. Not enough of Tracy yelling at Bobbie. Not enough Tracy/Luke interaction at the end. Am I being greedy? I really don't think I am, but who knows? And I cannot believe there are people online blaming Tracy for planting the thoughts about Emily into Monica's head...

EDIT: OT, this is ridiculous. WHY DO I HAVE TO FILL OUT RETIREMENT PAPERS?! And all the stuff about beneficiaries? I mean, granted if I died, the $$$ should go to someone...But all this primary beneficiaries, alternate beneficiaries...I feel so old!!!

Didn't watch yet, but am not loving how it sounds. How can they not be on til next wed? makes no sense. After the whole climax of luke and the surgery, etc today?

I can't remember who said this somewhere, but maybe Luke will get Georgie's heart when she dies??? Cause he needs another surgery on xmas day according to what was spoiled. You think he could need a transplant? Felicia would be happy to give it to him since she used to love Luke and also cause maxie got a heart that way? Just a thought....

So what today...his heart was too damaged to fix?

BTW someone posted that Luke/Tracy/monica/scott will have no role in feb. sweeps at all at soapdish. People all think they were fake lists because how could they not use TG during sweeps. He is always on Feb sweeps. Plus what are they paying him for then???

They WHAT??? That is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. Monica isn't that mentally weak.

Perhaps that's when he's taking his vacation. And if Tracy isn't on, then she's with Luke somewhere.

This part was really unclear. Leo said he couldn't fix his heart because Luke didn't have a heart. I don't know if they couldn't fix his heart at all. But now that they are talking about it, getting a new heart from Georgie would make sense. If his old heart is too far damanged, and he would have to radically change his lifestyle, it would radically change Luke. A new heart would give him a new license on life.

Wasn't one of the scenes supposed to have Leo, Tracy, Luke, etc. in it? That wasn't on today. I really hope they throw a couple of those into tomorrow. They really left it hanging today.

Oh yea, TL, that was funny! I actually thought Tracy pinched his butt, haha, but either works.

I also thought it was funny when Skye said how Scott had been really busy, and Luke asked with what.... silence.... haha it made more sense onscreen.

So sad to see so much Tracy hatred out there still... I mean, she's pissed me off on more than one occasion, but today wasn't one of those times...

Also, this might be open for interpretation, but when Scotty said Tracy shares, does he mean Tracy/Holly/Scotty? Or does he mean Tracy/Scotty one night, Holly/Scotty another? Not that I would want either of those options for our girl, but just wondering...

So, I think in "honor" of today, I should bring out this "fictional" banner...

EDIT: Because I'm not that evil, I dug this up for those who might have not seen it...It's Christmas oriented. I figured with the holiday approaching, it would be appropriate; don't want to offend anyone who doesn't celebrate though... If interested, GO HERE. Totally noticed that. LOved how JE was so fun, flirty and sexy today! She looked awesome. I think Scott was insinuating that Tracy shared him and left it up to luke's imagination...cause Tracy hates sharing Luke, but she wouldnt' mind sharing scott--luke's ultimate fantasy woman--ha ha.

Love how she did the little thrust to scott...and the way she said "getting ready". Too funny! The editing was horrible today. They should have had the dream continuous and the other stuff separate. Hated bobbie today..what a B&%^* she is being!

^^^ That was the last one, remos. I'm not sure how the information is presented to SI, but it was kind of like that Luke/Georgie/Tracy scene we thought we were getting. It began as Luke/Georgie and wrapped up with Luke/Tracy. Or at least that's what I got out of it. So, today, it was the OR scene plus the one right after in the regular hospital room. Editing seemed off, but SI listed 7 scenes total for our girl, and well, she got 7. Yet for whatever reason, I wasn't that pleased.
