Popping in briefly before work...

I did like Tracy and Ava because it was unexpected, and Tracy got to be harsh, and we don't see that a lot anymore. But I did not like Tracy and Ava because Tracy chose Sonny as the better parent. WTH?!?

It is ridiculous that Tracy left the party before the reveal and doesn't look to be part of the aftermath. Dillon is her son. Lulu was her her stepdaughter for years. She should be involved. This reminds me of when GH left Tracy out of the Ned/Olivia/baby "dying" story. :(

Robert Palmer Watkins did tweet yesterday or maybe the day before that he and Jane did just tape (so I'm thinking early December, we will see Tracy and Dillon again).

RPW did an after buzz interview where he talks about Jane and says he is filming his first Q thanksgiving this week and he is in a tux and he mentioned jane a few other times

Very out of order taping I guess

Also Nathan Varni mentioned on FB he agrees Jane is awesome and to look for some storyline in the coming months..

Believe it when I see it

Also she is on later this week

Well, so far Tracy/Hayden's partnership has barely been featured. :(

I liked Tracy being at the same park where Emma was almost kidnapped on Monday. It is surprising to me that Emma would even recognize Tracy though. Emma may hear the Quartermaine name from time to time, but I think the water crisis was the only time they somewhat interacted. Anyway, Tracy hugging her and calling her sweetheart was so nice. I do wish we got more than that, like how did the conversation go before the officer arrived on scene, but at least we got what we did.

I read that Robert Palmer Watkins filmed his first Quartermaine Thanksgiving a few weeks ago, so I'm assuming Tracy is a part of that. Wonder if Tracy and Hayden will interact this week???

Triple post!

I think this is the least active I have ever seen this thread, and I have been a member since February 2004 (we all had to re-register in October 2005).

Sounds like December will be a good Tracy month.

To anyone who may be lurking, hope you are doing well.

^^^ Thanks for posting and spreading the Tracy love!

I think it's a nice a touch that Tracy didn't start singing "We Gather Together" until after both of her parents passed away. It's like she's doing because she knows Edward and Lila would want her to, or she's doing it to hold onto their memory. Sad but also sweet.

I am liking her hair too. I preferred it not as dark, but I love all the volume/fullness to it. I am like, "Please don't cut it so short again ever!!!"

Nice Thanksgiving show. And we could actually hear Tracy singing!

I hope Dillon isn't really leaving. Not the best timing, to mention that to his mother on Thanksgiving. It struck me as painfully sad, what with Ned and Luke leaving this year, too. She doesn't need any other losses! Neither do I! LOL

I hope all of you enjoyed the holiday.

I didn't plan very well, and so had to travel the day AFTER Thanksgiving, to Texas to my family. My mom saved me some pie. :) I've been trying to break the ice with my 4-year-old niece, who doesn't remember me! Aww.

    • Here's the timeline, as I recall it being published. The WGA strike was 5/2–9/27/2023 Annalynne McCord was announced as being hired in December 2023, for a one-year contract https://deadline.com/2024/06/days-of-our-lives-when-to-expect-annalynne-mccord-peacock-1235975806/ RonC's first scripts back from the strike began airing May 31, 2024 (around Konstantine & Maggie's wedding) https://www.tvinsider.com/1137709/days-of-our-lives-writers-return-15000th-episode-storylines/ Her first air date was June 19th 2024. The actress has said she was not told who she would be playing until she started taping. Side note: DAYS social media team seems to be playing fast and loose with BTS videos, in terms of how far in advance they film content, so we shouldn't assume anyone's current status, versus those who were there nine months ago.
    • April and her husband (Draper) are the "young leads" who tie all the storyline threads together.  They're normally in the center of the action.  In this particular storyline, Draper is the attorney who represents Paige Madison.  (The district attorney, Logan Swift, has given Paige Madison "temporary immunity from prosecution" if she will lead the police to the members of the Tobias Gang who stole the firearms.  But Paige mainly just ducks bullets from various gang members who pop-up to assassinate her.)
    • It's one thing to post about a soap's rumors or gossip, which in point of fact we've all done. It's another to present yourself as the inside source who knows something to be fact that's about to break wide, then backtrack and call it just Twitter speculation. Between those two extreme poles you have to commit to one or the other. If I got something wrong, I'd say it. (Nor would I keep playing insider after what I pulled with Drake Hogestyn, which should've gotten someone permanently banned.) And regardless, you don't open with this 'news' you don't actually want to stand by yet by mocking DRW's extremely valid concerns re: how the Trina character and Tabyana Ali has been marginalized and put out to virtual pasture ever since the day NAC left. Her playing out her current contract in a C-storyline with Kai does not change that.
    • Yeah, I thought it would be more explosive or heated and it was kind of standard.  Both can do more with the material.  I just don't think the writing was there.
    • Daphnée and TMG are on Instagram live (as we speak) and are saying they don’t know why Maurice left.
    • Anita let SilkPress know what time it was!
    • Kat vs. Eva and Anita vs. Leslie were today's highlights.
    • TBF, the majority of Month 2 was them beefing up all the side-stories...mind you Duprees as well as non-Duprees...and it did not seem like people were taking to it as well as they were taking to stories in Month 1. If anything I feel (hope) that May Sweeps is going to shift...while dealing with the aftermath of the Nicole/SilkPress storyline...to the next big story aka Martin's Secret. But that's me hoping that Martin's meltdown over SilkPress jiggles some memories of his out...which I was already hoping would happen. Add on that Bill is involved in both stories now...that might be his way of being sure nothing happens to him now in light of SilkPress's antics.    And...same. I feel they did a better job than expected with Vanessa/Doug with me because I didn't even realize how invested I was until their talk at the hospital and Doug made that subtly blunt comment about their arrangement...making the various online discussions online real. And for me, relevant.
    • Michael Logan is being disingenuous. He knows who's to blame in these situations. Not only does he know how daytime works, but he also wrote about all the BTS shenanigans at the P&G soaps leading up to the Justine story. I will give Victoria Wyndham this: she went all out in the performance. She didn't half ass the performance. Let's also not forget that it was Michael Logan who was publicly calling for the firing of JFP when she on GL but says nothing about that in this interview or in the articles. My guess is that someone at AW didn't like Wyndham and was giving Logan the gossip and he was writing his column with that tea.
    • Basic script work; if it hadn't been for Jane Elliot and Rena Sofer, it could've been for any random character.
