So, cute newbie Dr. Mark is Aaron and Felicity’s brother.

I don’t mind that and I like that we’re getting new characters and a new family, but does he really have to be named after a character from ER? We don’t need anymore stupid jokes like we had with Sloan.

And hopefully, we were spared from another relationship for Leo but we all know Uncle Ron’s style lol I’m not convinced. But at least, this relationship would be with a newbie instead of someone who’s part of the core families or a long running character. And hopefully, no other character gets humiliated or destroyed in the process.

Speaking of Leo, personally, I should have sympathy for him after his scenes today but I just don’t. He deserves everything that he gets for what he did to Gwen.

As for Johnny/Chanel, I’m liking the idea of the story that they’re in, but I still feel like it shouldn’t be for them. Let them be the young, messy couple instead of just settling down with a baby.

How do we introduce newbie Mark? Jogging at the mall half naked and pouring water on his hot hairy body. Yup, Ron is back!

Leo is an annoying s h I t!! Marlena finding him funny was ridiculous. She should've shot Leo with a gun. Leo saying how good looking he was....oh please..... Not even dude.

The ER mention yuck!

Mark is a Will/Sonny gay kind of guy. I thought Ron hated those type? Mark deserves better than horrible human being Leo.

I can't even deal with Marlena having to prop Leo.  I did chuckle a bit when she side eyed Leo when he said he was tall though.   It's weird Leo was talking about his mother as if Marlena doesn't know exactly who Diana is and was also almost murdered by her.

The new Dr. is cute.  They better work on the Aaron casting though if they are building a whole family off of him lol.  I would have been fine with his name being Mark Greene if Johnny didn't wink wink mention it out loud.

Although, does Johnny seem far too young to get the reference?  ER's finale was 15 years ago, and it is not streaming.

I hope the Greene's get a home and aren't relegated to the tiny apartment where Chad and Stephanie once lived.

Also, it is mid-June, shouldn't the prom have happened already?

Multiple members of her family!!  Very recently Eric.

Not to defend Ben because I don't, but at least he had a very specific, crazy diagnosis that perhaps Marlena was the best shrink for.

Leo just wants a regular old psychiatrist.  He could get anyone.

    • He definitely got lost in the shuffle last year. First, they were implying that he was Drew’s son, then he was nothing more than just Violet’s bff

And then they changed him to being Dante and Brook Lynn’s son, which was clunky at first but I’m enjoying the storyline now.
    • GM is adorable, charming and fun onscreen despite months of nothing to do until recently, and has a bodacious bod. I'm not cosigning the show or this story - I haven't watched a full episode in over a month - but I think we're all taking the small victories in 2025 at this point. I'm open to testing this theory!
    • I think Jason might've posted some numbers for the syndication a while ago and the numbers for Falcon Crest was horrible. Like 1.5 rating or something, which was terrible.    ETA: it was actually Paul Raven:   New to syndication 60 min Fall Guy 67 markets 3.1/8 Falcon Crest 110 markets 1.1/5 To get into the top 40, you needed a 4.6/9 rating for reference - and Falcon Crest managed to get into a lot of markets to begin with. In the fall of 1985 Dynasty, Dallas and Knots were syndicated (show / rating / share / coverage % / markets): Dallas 3.4 10 51.7 92 Dynasty 3.4 10 48.7 47  Knots Landing 3.3 10 12.5 20  So, Knots as an example trippled Falcon Crest's rating with 20 markets - I'm sure those were major ones but it just goes to show you how much Falcon Crest bombed in syndication.
    • It's not bad but the stories move too slow. It's the same problem when Dan O'Connor was CO-HW with Van Etten, they have a million stories and they all drag on endlessly with no resolution. I'd argue the majority of the stories airing now are good but you get sick of waiting months for something to happen.
    • Thanks. I must have missed that period entirely for Lifetime.
    • Thanks. I know Marland did that type of thing sometimes but it's less likely with these characters. I don't even remember Alex ever mentioning him.
    • French fan summary Rusty took over Simon's job at Lewis Trucking after Simon transferred to Lewis Oil's North Carolina office to live near Jessie and Calla. I doubt they would bother following up a story for offscreen characters eg marriage and a baby.
