I used to think it would’ve been cool for David Jacobs to have developed an anthology-like spinoff series centered around some of the people who work and, um, play at LP.

I still to this day have no clue what the hell ELQ does! Same with Basic Black!

One time Basic Black had a launch of some clothing & it was pointedly in print so Bella, the magazine that was published by Titan, .... and I just stayed confused!!!

Yeah, it makes no sense. Business stories get so strange. To point where I don't even know exactly what anyone's actual job, or career for that matter is. They hire anyone off the street! Plus which, does anyone even have an area of expertise?

I think Spaulding also dabbled in the biomedical sphere in the early 90's too. 

Alden Enterprises on Loving: I believe that was a conglomerate too i.e. retail, cosmetics, media, real estate etc.,

Fun fact about Lotus Point.  At the time, a resort was in the news, as it was developed where Marineland once was in the wealthy enclave of Palos Verdes (funded by Lowes Resorts and developed by a man named York Long Point - Lowes/Point = Lotus Point).

I really don't know how B&B has been on almost 40 years and won't do a film or music industry family. It's literally right there! Or how about a modeling agency?! Which, I actually wrote up a whole thing for!
