Members janea4old Posted May 5 Members Share Posted May 5 (edited) The event was a benefit for ALS One. https://alsone.org Blurb on their site: "ALS ONE is an unprecedented partnership of world leaders in Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) research and care who have joined forces to expedite research towards a cure while helping all individuals who are living with the disease now." Nancy met someone at a zoom event a few years ago and they became friends. Her name is Michelle Strojny, and she is living with ALS. Nancy organized this event in honor of her friend to support research for treatment for ALS. (The fictional character Gregory on GH also has ALS).
