The Cady McClain Newsletter www.cadymcclain.com Beyond the Gates on CBS, Paramount +, and BET Image from  my appearance on Entertainment Tonight to promote “Beyond the Gates” Dear Friends, I am so pleased to share with you that I’ve been working on the new CBS Soap Opera “Beyond the Gates” as PAMELA CURTIS, the best friend of lead actor Dani Dupree (played by the wonderful Karla Mosely). Watch a clip HERE. The audience response has been great, and the ratings are terrific. I was stunned to have found myself on clips in three of the five episodes of Entertainment Tonight promoting the show. It’s really a show about the DUPREES’s (an affluent African American family). I play a small supporting role which I am more than happy to do. It’s such an important show for so many reasons. Regardless, it was really great that the good folks at ET felt my years on daytime were worthy of recognition and I greatly appreciated it. Check out one of the ET clips HERE. Not only THAT, BTG was mentioned in “Weekend Update” on SNL! Watch the SNL clip HERE. I hope you get a chance to check it out!  There’s a new show every day at 2PM ET, with reruns the next day on Paramount +, and the same evening on BET at 8PM ET. (No idea if these links will work.)

This was a good listen. I loved her tease about Anita having a story coming up. She said it was important to Tamara to be able to have her own meaty storyline and not just be the elder dishing out advice. I agree 100% and I can't wait to see what they give her to sink her teeth into. She really hit the ground running from day one and I know she's going to devour whatever they give her. I'm ready for it!
