Don't remember if this casting was discussed in detail on this thread.
I see that she was mentioned in her instagram stories in this post
in December

Attorney Bill Hamilton's secretary (or legal admin):
Character name "Caroline Lee".
She is played by Ellie Wang. She's on IMDB as "Elena Wang (1)".
She is Singaporean, raised in Australia.

2018 article about a play she did with George Takei.
It started on Broadway and was revived in L.A. in 2018.
It's a musical play with a story set during the Japanese American internment of World War II (with a framing story set in the present day).

Ellie Wang recently filmed an appearance in a romcom TV movie working with Adam Huss - Nikolas Cassadine.  The film stars Eric Roberts, and hasn't aired yet.

Finally got to watch only the second daytime soap opera premier in my lifetime!

What worked for me:

Tamara Tunie and Clifton Davis, and Nicole.

Bill the cheater, his new woman and Kara Mosley. I'm interested to see Bill scheming. We need a powerful antagonist.

The sets were great!

What didn't work for me:

-the younger black couple (Naomi and the guy) and the younger white couple. They just felt like extra weight.

-pacing: it felt a little slow, I think this would've worked better as a 30 minute show but we're well past that now.

Overall it was just the first episode, interested to see where this goes, this is definitely better than B&B.

Suggestion for the opening, to familiarize the audience with character names, put it above the actor names. Example:

With the show finally making its long-awaited premiere, I have officially unpinned this thread. It will continue to exist and receive ongoing discussions about the behind the scenes world of Beyond the Gates and its historical impact, but it will no longer be the place to discuss episodes or spoilers. News can continue being posted here, as long as it isn't spoiling anything for any particular episode.

Casting news, breaking news and episode discussion, and related topics, should now take place in their respective discussion threads on the SON Community.

Thank you for this. I admit I was wondering about her a little bit. And she's in a movie with Adam Huss. Cool.

I wonder if GH will make some gesture ? Would be a classy and positive thing to do.

They won't; Y&R/DAYS usually always comment via social media when a cast member passes, etc. GH's social media is the only one who never does. So I doubt they will acknowledge BTG.

At least the GH stars that MVJ wrote for have shown their support like Laura Weight and Lisa Locicero.

Oh, the actors do show support but do not expect the official Twitter/Instagram accounts to do so.
