Beyond The Gates will be available on Paramount+ at launch. I believe in territories without Paramount+, original series are available on the local Prime Video service.

I think they will be up on CBS's official site... that can be played with a browser vpn-add on. Opera browser even has one pre-installed. That's how I watch CBS episodes.

What's good about Anita is that she is a Diana Ross-type character with a singing background, and Tamara can sure as hell pull that off as she also sings.

As I said to someone when I got wind of the news yesterday, I wouldn't be surprised to see The Gates release a "Music from the Series" soundtrack (Season 1) with Tunie and others singing, possibly.  It would be a great marketing tie-in and would fit the culture very well.

I am dying just reading this and imagining it. I want to see a Diana Ross-type in a soap sooo much. It will be so grand and soap-opera worthy!

I would love to see Debbi Morgan of course, but Debbi doesn't need the work. (Then again nor does Tamara.)

It's obviously not a priority but given the deep GH bench at the show I wouldn't be shocked to see Sarah Brown turn up. If they really wanted to troll ABC they'd try to get Vanessa Marcil to pull a Rosemary Prinz guest stint, but that would also potentially fly in the face of the show's Black-focused goals atm. Not sure adding a big white star would send a great message out of the uh, gate. Vicky Rowell, OTOH...

I'm still trying to figure out what the hell the official name is for the CBS/NAACP Venture. They always refer to it by "the CBS Studios/NAACP Venture," which makes no sense in terms of a business name. I wonder if they'll just call it CBS Studios/NAACP Venture Productions or something like that. Or if it will be CBS Studios in one card, followed by NAACP in another. It's so weird.

That being said, I LOVED the PGP closing. It was the only way I felt the episode of their dramas was truly over for that day's airing.

    • Welcome back, Shawn Douglas! It's been a while. It really is too bad that the writers don't really have an interest in the character because there are still a lot of ways that he can be used effectively on the canvas. He should have been a part of the 60th anniversary celebrations as well. If anything, just to represent Bo and Hope. And I'd much rather see Jada paired with him than possibly with Theo. But I enjoyed him getting caught up with Belle, and comforting her. I'm sure they'll find their way back to each other at some point but I do like them as divorced friends. I just hope we see it play out onscreen. Belle being a dick about Sami again was unnecessary though. And we finally saw Liam again!  I'm curious to see how this storyline is going to play out, and who's going to be weaved into it. He and Abe do work well together too. And we learned that he has a kid. Hopefully, we'll learn more about his character in the future. But I'm not really sure about Johnny and Chanel suddenly having problems with raising Trey. They've wanted a baby for so long, so I don't understand why this is even an issue. They should know by now what it's like to raise a baby. But I did enjoy Johnny's scenes with EJ, and that Johnny still hasn't refused to forgive him. This storyline was/is very clunky, but having the two of them be at odds is the right decision. There's so much story potential that can be drawn from that. As for Chad... there was no time for us to see his reunion with Will, but there's time for us to see him talking BS with Leo? I don't get it. And I don't get all this random dating app stuff either. Leo and Javi were boring af too. If we're forced to endure them, can they at least have some real conflict? The two of them losing the baby was the perfect opportunity for it.

    • I enjoy BF better on Days than on YR.   Chad is greater than Cane, in my opinion.
    • Ick! Seeing MS and BF making out as the characters onscreen was just ewwww.

    • That was the best part of Tuesday's episode.  Martin and Smitty and their family are boring.
    • Crew Morrow's acting on Tuesday's episode was just dreadful. The weird faces he was making were just awful
    • Creatively, he probably should have stayed with The Doctors, where he stood out as an antihero lead. Not sure what happened with GH. He didn't have the same impact. Was it bad writing, not clicking with co-stars? Didn't they gave him a boat load of money to join GH in 1976? Was Mark Dante just a toned-down version of Nick Bellini? Were they basically the same character?
