original release date: Thursday, June 4, 2026 | writers: Teresa Zimmerman, Skyy Sandifer | director: Michael V. Pomarico Thoughts: Nothing worse than your husband coming home while you are reminiscing while looking at images with your ex-husband. I have a sneaking feeling that Hayley is not at all disappointed that Bill cannot make dinner at Uptown. Now Bill is seeking interest in Mike's habits at the law firm. Interesting. Very, very interesting. And Caroline is right: he knew how to hide it. Most perps do. The clear disdain that Naomi still has for Hayley is fresh. She is right: Hayley broke up their family, even though their family was likely very fragile from Bill's continued affairs. Another public meetup with Randy... Hayley has to be one of the worst con artists to exist. She is dumber than a clump of rocks. Oh the regret and guilt that Dani is feeling right now, alongside Bill, concerning Hayley's introduction into their lives. And I am glad that we are getting more and more of the backstory of Bill and Hayley's relationship and its beginnings. Sh*t! Joey was the original con? Wow. Not Randy turning her away from him and focusing her attentions on Bill. Interesting. Not Naomi kind of giving the intel to Hayley about Bill's indiscretions within his marriage. Oh, that amount of guilt I know she is harbouring. So we also made a fake father: Larry Lawson. Interesting how in-depth this backstory that was concocted is. Not Caroline's co-worker leaving and then Dani recommending Hayley for the receptionist gig. Whew. She snuck right in there without anyone noticing. Not Hayley thinking she was having her Erin Brockovich moment with Bill. But she is far from who Erin ended up being. She really did turn the charm on to seduce him and lure him in with the insecurities within his marriage. OH SNAP! Chelsea is the one who caught them! Wow! We are finally getting to see how this all went down! I have wanted this for such a long time! Notes: I have been unimpressed with Zimmerman's last few scripts, but today they rebounded, which gives me considerable hope about the future. And Sandifer is proving themselves to be a solid scriptwriter. Just hoping they continue to work with people who are not writer2. I appreciate that we are getting more of the backstory of Val becoming Hayley. Very interesting. I was hoping they would fill in some of the blanks in the story, and now is the time. I have said it before and I am saying it again: Jeresa Featherstone always shines when it comes to these flashback scenes. The fashions and hairstyles tell me the timeframe we are meant to be actively existing within. Timon Kyle Durrett (Bill) and Karla Mosley (Dani) did great in those confrontation scenes. The emotions were there, despite already knowing what went down. They did so well to live in those moments as if they were new to them.
