I believe it had something to do with when she gave birth to Scout.  She gave birth to her outside and picked up the parasite?  worm?  Whatever.

Her brain got infected and she started having hallucinations of Sonny and Liz maybe?

Watched just to see Eva Larue first couple of days. Off the bat she finds a girl in her daughter's bed and finds out she's a lesbian. Way too fast.....the actress playing Blaze sucks! Why is a grown Latino woman calling her mother...Mommie?

As a Latino I've never called my mother... Mommie.

Eva calling Blaze's girlfriend a friend was spot on. My aunt could never call her son's boyfriend a boyfriend or by his first name. She would always refer to him as his friend even though everyone in the family knew it was his lover/boyfriend.

The rest of the show sucked.

I remember a scene from Brenda's return where Spinelli is telling Sonny to be careful with Brenda and not to have sex with her.  And MB, who is mostly hilarious with Spinelli, is like the hell?  You realize Brenda was engaged to me, is like 40, and has had sex with me and other people before, no?  And Spinelli couldn't comprehend that fact.  Instead of making Spinelli just a weirdo the show should have explored the fact his brain just works differently, but whatever.  He seems mostly normal now.

I don't think the actress that plays Blaze is bad.  She's okay.  I think she has more charisma than some of the other ladies on the show.  Kate Mansi is just much better than her.

What?! Thats's nuts.

I thought Blaze was pretty good in those scenes with Eva. I just am not super invested in "Blaze" (yes I know her real name, peanut gallery) or this relationship at all. I do think the scenes felt clearly touched up dialogue-wise and everyone came off well as a result.

Agree about BA toning down his acting choices lately, but I'm worried this will end as he gets more screen time -- and when Jason returns.

I rolled my eyes the other day when Spinelli and Sonny had a scene and we had to live through the "Mr. Corinthos" dialogue as Spinelli deferred like Sonny was royalty. Sonny is a legend and a god? No.

I also don't want to go through months and months of Maxie and Spinelli finding every illogical reason in the book to stay apart. Yesterday, Maxie declared she loves Spinelli, and then immediately had to add "But is love enough?"

GMAB with that stuff.

I...can't.

I don't even want to think about Spinelli and Jason scenes in the year 2024.

Blaze is fine as a very limited supporting character.  I am glad Kristina gets a love interest, but of course it's one of the most fringe characters on the show.

I mentioned it before, but do not get me started on how many teary-eyed emotional speeches Spinelli used to give Maxie about what a lying slut she was with a bunch of $8 words and a slew of nicknames thrown in. He really was a 4chan incel before it became popularized during that period.

    • I didn't wanna "ruin" it for you if Raven hadn't left on her midnight trip to London yet.  But based on where she's going -- and who she'll be staying with -- you can assume there will be some drama when she returns! I believe she even says to Logan or Eliot Dorn before she leaves, "My stepfather, Ansel Scott, always had a 'thing' for me!" lol.

    • Greg and Paige were an interesting choice for a couple.  I do think the lack of focusing on the generational differences hindered their long term potential. I think Laura had learned to keep her feelings close to her vest, especially after the hell she went through in her early years on the show.  The last scene of her trying to keep her tears inside as she drove away was the first time we had seen Laura really express what she was feeling after two or three seasons of her keeping her true self hidden from everyone.. even Greg.
    • I guess my hunch may be right about her. I'm still very split about it. My husband thinks she is a joke, doesn't like her acting and thinks she is over the top. At the beginning I liked her a lot... And I definitely don't agree with my husband about her acting... But still something just puts me off when Felicia is on screen. It's like they are pushing her to be this grand dame too much. It doesn't come off natural, but very staged and superficial. Wearing a head piece and a gown doesn't make you suddenly be that. In most cases it makes people look foolish... when they are still wearing a huge hat while sitting in someone's ugly kitchen talking about stuff. To me... the actress and character shine the most when she seems down to earth and talking through something troubling. When the fluff and glitz is less and the REAL is more. When they act like she is Joan Crawford that's when I start wondering what is going on. She isn't. And some of the wardrobe choices for her have been horrific.  Of course all of these impressions are personal ones and I don't claim to know what the character will become in the future or what it was when she started.  I'm only saying my natural response to her now.   Then I'll blame him too! Thank you for the compliment. I'm sorry to respond so late but that's the first time I'm reading these comments.   More like criticism to the show and the way they are portraying her. I still like the actress a lot.
    • Mid 1979 to mid 1981 was A+ quality for the show.   I even found things to like about the show in the final year or so when the quality had somewhat declined.
    • From what I heard, the actress playing Leslie opted to leave so instead of recasting again.. they killed her off.   Holly brought it on herself by lying and pretending Christina was Ed's child.  Although I do think that Rita's actions with withholding that message from Ed weighed upon her.   Even though she won Ed in 1976, she realized over time that she never truly had him. There was no Rita/Tim/Evie triangle.  Tim and Evie dated after Rita broke up with him (which happened before Evie and her mother came to Springfield).  Ironically Tim did to Evie what Rita previously did to him... leading someone on that you're not interested in.
    • I mean, he is but he's also still an ásshole.
    • The most beautiful thing about getting into a new soap opera is getting to know the characters yourself and figuring everything out slowly. And EON is one of the easiest when it comes to that. Pretty soon you are so well oriented in who is who and what are their motivations. I only struggled with the episodes before Mansion of the damned started.  Then after that it's pretty smooth sailing.
