Tomorrow I am flying out to California for four days, Long Beach to be exact. Why do you ask? Cuz I need to get away! I'll be relaxing at a spa resort. I am so psyched. The last few months have sucked royally and its so worth it.

Off to bed and then heading out early tomorrow. I'll be back next week to post as usual!

I use to catch the Metro Link downtown Long Beach to ditch school. There was this cool little book store I use to hit that had used/new books, my favorite movie theatre and a nice Starbuck's right across the street. It's really a nice area and very convenient for me when I don't want to be bothered with anyone. Either $1.35 or a bus token and I'm on my way.

I just flew back in tonight from Cali, and damn am I jetlagged. Loved it out there though, stayed in a resort near Long Beach and had dinner in Corona del Mar.

My only gripe with Cali is the damn need to drive everywhere. Why must everything be so spaced out?

I don't drive anywhere because I'm catching the bus or the train. Sometimes both.

You take public transportation in LA? I've not heard good things.

I don't mind the driving so much, but it helps that I don't have a 9-5 schedule that sticks me on the freeway during rush hour...

The public transportation here is pretty good, atleast to me. I've never had any problems on the bus or train except for running into a couple of people I didn't really care for.

That's a pleasant surprise, and good to hear. It usually gets such a bad rap from non-LA'ers.
