I’m actually somewhat surprised she’s so low. It feels like we saw a lot of Abby even without Chance but maybe she did go away earlier in the year.

Nikki has had so little to do, yet we saw a good bit of MTS.

I know the show is still pretending that Christian LeBlanc and Kate Linder are on contract, but I'm guessing they're not.  They look awfully recurring.

So Doug Davidson did not appear at all in 2021. No official word from CBS/Sony, and no exit storyline.

I know people get on DD's case because he calls out the way they handled his exit on twitter, but after almost 44 years of being a dedicated employee, I would be pissed off on how they treated me too.

I know I will sound like a broken record to say the same things year after year but...Add Courtney Hope to the list of white females that come on this show to get mega airtime and finish in the top 10 whereas Mishael, Brytni, Leigh-Ann, Ptosha Story just can't get there no matter what happens.

I know she gets a ton of hate on here and elsewhere but I love Phyllis so glad to see she's still in the top ten. 

 

I will never get Mishael Morgan's appeal. She always comes across as average at best and a little better when dealing with her family on screen. I much prefer any of Amanda's family over her and would have preferred Mosley in the role permanently. 

 

Devon shouldn't be anywhere near the top ten.

 

Is it Melody's choice she gets reduced airtime and a smaller amount of appearances compared to the other vets?

I do have to wonder if they're 'on contract' for SAG health insurance purposes or if it's a contract without any episode guarantee, just an agreed price per episode?

I wonder about all of that, too.  It appeared the same treatment had been given to Kristoff St. John, Christian LeBlanc, Kate Linder and Doug Davidson, all at the same time.

Kristoff, of course, passed away soon after. 

Doug Davidson began airing his grievances publicly, and soon after he spoke out, he was listed as recurring, rather than contract.  (Before he opened his mouth, he was listed as contract.)  Then his appearances plummeted, and he hasn't been seen at all since back in late 2020. 

LeBlanc and Linder have remained quiet about their deals, and are still listed as contract, though their appearances are minimal.  (LeBlanc is actually on the other side of the country, doing "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" in New York currently.)

Paul has been mentioned so there is a slim possibility he may return, if either side has a change of heart.

Doug accepted recurring but then there were a few months where he wasn't used at all and he mentioned on Twitter that he had no upcoming appearances and things took off from there.

I guess he expected (maybe was told?) that he would get a certain number of episodes  per month.
