Ha. It’s a society issue too. 20 years ago Michelle Stanford’s Phyllis returned at age 35 and seemed emotionally and physically mature to be paired with Jack. Now actors appear and act forever 25 years old despite being over 30 and sometimes 40s.

It is true. Courtney Hope is in her 30s, and her character often feels like a green yet ambitious recent college grad. And Summer and Kyle felt like high school kids playing dress-up as junior executives. But a lot of that is reflected in society, for sure. Thirty-year-olds simply felt older back in the days (compare “thirtysomething” to any comparable show these days—those characters feel ancient.) More and more, young adults feel like they’re in a prolonged adolescence.

There is a commentary to be had about forty-something men feeling rootless and adrift, but Y&R wasn’t making it unfortunately. They just didn’t know what to do with its male characters. They still don’t. Nick is all up in his siblings’ business with no story of his own.

Moses and Faith have their big date -at the Top of the Tower!- a must venue for teens. But of course, we didn't see it.

Why not mention another venue that would be more suitable for 16 yr olds?

Why wasn't Newman Media launch held there?

If they want to save money, they could have Chuck E Cheese sponsor a location shoot at one of their restaurants for product placement and it would be a more realistic first date.

True.

All they would need is a wall and booth or seating, and background noise. That's what soaps did in the 60's and 70's and it worked OK.

And after that date, 5heyd go back to Crimson Lights? Uh....no.
