Honestly, there is not a Black woman writer today who wasn't deeply affected by the legacy of bell hooks.

Unfortunately, I never got the chance to take a course with her, I arrived a little too late and just missed her presence but was fortunate enough to hear one of her lectures.

Someone mentioned yesterday that 69 still seems too young for a passage, which does seem accurate when one thinks about it.
