James Burrows' death will sting for a very long time.

Wow, first James Burrows; and now, Clive Davis. We're losing too many legends too quickly.

Believe it or not, I remember her more for her appearances on "Three's Company," where she always played one of Jack Tripper's many gfs (except that one where she played the loan officer at the bank where Jack's attempting to get a loan for his bistro).

Same. I would have enjoyed her character Linda becoming a regular, but I guess that would have cut off many episodes about Jack's dating life. For the one episode Joyce DeWitt had to miss, Linda filled in the Janet role, and Anne just fit in perfectly.

I agree!

TBH, I think Jack, as a character, would have benefitted more from having a regular girlfriend like Linda than from dallying with all those "flavors of the week," which tended to be indistinguishable and a comedy black hole. As it was, I think the only other female who played well off John Ritter and who wasn't playing one of the roommates was Joanna Kerns, who played the gf who wanted a baby in "Jack Be Quick."

You posted a normal tweet, no idea why it doesn't display embedded on my device, it just looks like a blank field. When I decided to quote it, I saw it had a hidden URL.

Random glitch I guess.

I tried embedding it and couldn't get it to work, either.

Here's a screengrab of the tweet,
