So many stars have spouses and families to think about. Would you be comfortable having your spouse go to work and make out with a co-star? People can have this virus without showing symptoms. I think social distancing will be the norm once these shows go back into production. Even if testing becomes widespread, you can be negative today, but catch the virus tomorrow. Really great points. I live in NJ, which is hard hit by the virus. The governor was just interviewed on the news that a lot of re-imagining is going to need to happen in the months ahead -- desks a certain from each other in schools, rethinking sports and assemblies. I think the same will be true of soaps and other shows -- a lot of rethinking about how to do things in this new environment.

April 18, 20206 yr Member I was looking around at the NABET and IATSE websites to see if there was any news about "Days" crew and their status. I didn't find anything specific to Days, but this was posted about the NABET crew of General Hospital: "General Hospital is under a production hiatus and employees assigned to that production will be paid ten (10) hours straight-time for each scheduled work day, through April 5, 2020. The Company will also pay daily Payment In Lieu Of Benefits (PILOB) for the above-referenced days. " https://www.nabetcwa.org/news/nabet-cwa-bulletin-update-4-covid-19-coronavirus
