Ha, I didn’t even notice the contract departures. And the only white person on that list was recast with the actress who originated the part.

Well Kristoff was unavoidable and Christel chose to leave,

 

The twins should never have been aged in the first place and Alice was a blah character, esp being paired with Jack.

 

Perfect time to drop Cane as he has no place on the canvas.

 

Same with Arturo and Mia - their departure lessened the overwhelming presence of the Rosales.

 

Nate was a good recast.

 

All the more reason to keep Ana with other minority characters dropped.

I see that Daniel Goddard/Cane was only on 4 episodes in July. I think he will be on even less this month. Maybe like 2 episodes at the most, if he's even on at all. And Nick has been on a lot lately and for the whole year in general.
