Time to permaban the endless J*nny and co. sockpuppets. Permanent, not just rolling temp bans from posting. We all know who they are so why they weren't simply removed years ago is beyond me.

Question @Errol what's the point of having someone on ignore if their posts just show up on the side bar thingy on the right. It kind of defeats the purpose of having an ignore button

No current setting is available that removes ignored users' posts from being displayed on the sidebar.

The only way for their posts not to show is if I disabled the sidebar altogether, which isn't feasible. It's enabled to provide users with what's actively being discussed on the Community.

I will contact Invision and hopefully, they'll include the ability in a future update to the forum software.

It would be great if users could have an option to disable the sidebar totally. It often contains spoilers. Thanks for looking into it, appreciate you listening to feedback.

I've already removed the DTS: Spoiler Island thread from appearing on the sidebar via settings. If there's a page where spoilers from that forum still appear, please let me know.

Why are posters I have on ignore still showing up? @Errol

They aren't even being quoted and their post still shows up.

I've never had trouble putting someone on ignore.

@Soapsuds I was having a similar issue, but if you go to your ignore list, you need to make sure that all the boxes are checked - I hope this helps

I did that but still didn't work.

I'll try again later.
