The View has always been right wing trash. I still remember when they pushed ex-gay stuff on the show. A lot of people just don't care because they like hissing and clawing.

It's weird, because some people find the show too liberal and others see it as too right-wing. They did themselves a HUGE favor by not inviting Meghan McCain back (no one will ever convince me that she wasn't fired). She was a living, breathing caricature of a conservative Republican - and there are tons of people (including me) that are thrilled that she's no longer there.

This happens every time a Dem wins by a considerable margin - Obama both times, Biden (in the final analysis) last year. The media always says a Republican has a mandate when they win, but when Dems do it it's 'can they heal the country? this isn't a mandate!' And they're proven wrong each time.

Gavin Newsom is crushing the recall, but a media that already had "liberal elite" sneerfests written out months ago will not be stopped.

I'm watching the MSNBC coverage on the recall with Steve Kornacki of course at the big board. He is just like The Count. He just loves all the numbers, percentages, odds, etc. I enjoy watching him.

Big talk from the woman who just platformed Alyssa Farah.

Kasie Hunt has been rationed into oblivion in record time. She's had such a far fall so quickly.

This Politico man's replies are embarrassingly stupid. I don't know whether he is just that dumb or pretends to be, but it's enraging.

Blake Hounshell is Politico through and through. Their alumni are largely reared by conservative groups/clubs from school to career and most of their contacts are the 'sane, sober fiscal conservative' GOP. The reason they carry water for the GOP at all times and try to act like another version of the party exists is because, as has been enumerated by other critics in the past, the Beltway pundits prefer to believe the supposedly 'sensible' Republicans they know in DC as friends and colleagues are the real base of the party vs. the racist, deranged base that actually exists and holds majority office today.

It's pretty sad. I actually liked her work on MSNBC.
