I remember he was pretty involved when David and Anna had their daughter Leora in 2003. When I have a chance, I’ll look for any of his appearances. That might’ve been his last hurrah on the show. I can’t remember if he was there when Bianca and Babe were pregnant.

Peter Brandon, 57, Is Dead; Acted on Broadway and TV

Peter Brandon, the Broadway and television actor, was found dead yesterday in Rochester, Mich., where he was appearing at the Meadowbrook Theater as Oliver Wendell Holmes in ''The Magnificent Yankee.'' He was 57 years old and lived in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The medical examiner's office reported that the actor, dressed in jogging clothes, was found at the foot of the steps of his trailer on the Oakland University campus, the site of the theater. A cause of death had not been determined.

Since making his Broadway debut in ''Cry of the Peacock'' in 1950, Mr. Brandon had often appeared on Broadway and television. His Broadway credits included ''Cyrano de Bergerac,'' ''Ondine,'' ''The Young and the Beautiful,'' ''The Hidden River,'' ''The Infernal Machine,'' ''A Man for All Seasons'' and ''The Investigation.''

On television, he was seen in ''The Adams Chronicles,'' daytime serials such as ''As the World Turns'' and many commercials.    Mr. Brandon was born in Germany and moved to the United States in 1940. He  graduated from the Mount Hermon School in Northfield, Mass., and after serving in the Army studied acting at the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theater.    He is survived by his wife, Jane Clark Brandon; a daughter, Mary Hopkins; a son, William Clark Brandon, and a brother, Lawrence, of New York.
