Not sure how many JT fans exist on this board, but I figured there might be a few even though many find him a bit problematic for throwing Janet and Britney under the bus. I thought Justified, FutureSex/LoveSounds, and the 20/20 Experience albums were all fantastic. His new album is out soon ahead of his Super Bowl halftime performance, and he's released a couple of songs. I actually quite like the first single  "Filthy," but the song he released today is.... not good. I almost feel like he's punking us.

This pretentious poseur. He has zero self-awareness. LOL that line about being a 'generous lover' makes him be a better feminist. Lorrrd that's what the MeToo movement needs!  You're so woke, Justin. 

 

The song is bad. And that ending, cringe. 

 

ETA: I read somewhere this mv is JT's Kendall-Jenner-Pepsi-ad moment.

I feel it's a grower if anything. And I do like the first single...and its video. Clever. 

Use to love his music but these two songs from his upcoming CD suck.

I'm hoping the early singles are red herrings, but it's weird that I like the Timbaland single better than the Pharrell one (Timbaland seems tapped out these days while Pharrell still produces bangers when he wants to).

Justin has released his duet with Chris Stapleton, which is better than the last single by a wide margin (even if the chorus is a bit repetitive):

Yep. She did. When DOUBLE DUCHESS came out, she spent the next few days releasing videos in blocks. Half of them she was in or had a celebrity take her place...or animation lol.

 

One of which...Tension...got the video deleted with a new video. Thank God someone edited out the offending part and reposted it because the first video made more sense than the second.

It doesn't seem like it. He announced before the first single dropped than 4 songs and videos would be released building up to the album release date. 

 

Might as well, cos I'm having difficulty imagining this album not flopping.
