Tom Petty, Rock Iconoclast Who Led the Heartbreakers, Dead at 66 I don't know what to think, other than I hope his life can be spared. I'd prefer that story to the previous one. I was more of an R&B kid until grunge introduced me to rock growing up, but he really was part of the soundtrack of my childhood.
