Binging it right now. Fascinating & very good. Whittle and McShane are great as the leading duo. Thought-provoking but also entertaining.

 

That beautiful, intimate, tender gay sex scene on episode 3 nearly brought me to tears. Real and spiritual at the same time.

 

I mostly love the cold opens with the various gods, especially the Anubis one.

Who thought that a whole flashback episode would be riveting, but it was. "Stay away from me, you zombie whore!" Bless.

I watched the full season, and it was definitely an enjoyable watch.  Some great casting--Cloris Leachman, Corbin Bernsen and especially Kristin Chenowith have some memorable characters.
