He's honestly not that bad. I am OK with him when I see him in late 80s/early 90s episodes. But you've explained it to yourself: This would once again, definitely, for sure, absolutely, be cartoon Jack all over again. 'Wacky hijinks' galore. Stupid comedy. Insufferable sh!t. 300%. 24/7. Once again he wouldn't work. Once again he'd die. Jennifer would grieve again. Oh my God, I'm going off to barf.

 

With some of the characters (all?) in the current soap climate, it's a careful-what-you-wish-for!

LOL. No. But you're certainly entitled to feel how you want to about him. Nothing revisionist about it. But you may not be able to have an unbiased view it seems. The character had very up and down writing. And his forced romance with Sami hurt both characters. Guess you were ok with him pretty much raping her then huh? Talk about true love

EJ was easily the most all consuming character ever! He never paid for anything the whole time it was the EJ DiMera Show! He wasn't a good lead, but all his airtime was there to make you think otherwise.

+1 It's okay for other character's to have bad writing and It's OOC for them, but with Jack it's not? LMAO

EJ ate the show. The writing for him was a [!@#$%^&*] mess. I was beyond happy he got killed off.

I could barely even watch because I hated him so much. If wanted to watch EJ-FREE, I could only get maybe 45 minutes a week.
