I find it actually pretty impressive that Y&R still registered a 2.4 for Victor and Nikki's 1984 rerun.

Yeah, the numbers for that episode was pretty impressive - 3.3 million.

 

I'm surprised no other soaps got a bump for this week.  They usually get one - that's why the year-to-year comparisons are so huge. 

Isn't it fascinating that three soaps are up in all viewing figures, and one is not......  

 

I guess the audience just isn't smart enough to comprehend the deliciously modern writing that the dynamic duo is presenting to the world.  What a shame.....  

Toups your YR and GH calculations are wrong in averages. U need to recalculate.

The repeat for GH was counted, but it should not be.  Total viewers for the week are 2.817 500. 

 

The repeats are not supposed to ever be counted. So GH ratings went up and get a bump.

Yup ....Y&R and GH ratings are wrong Toups....Friday was not counted yet it was counted on viewers and HHs??

 

 

Y&R should have a 3.54 HH rating and not a 3.32.

And Y&R total viewers should be 5,090,000 and not 4,750,000 .

Which gives Y&R a 361,000 gain

and a .19 in HH bump

Damn, so GH really isn't at the bottom? Well, it's still nice seeing it there for a bit. LMAO! 🚮 

 

Nope it rose and Jean/Shelly continue to amaze us with their brilliant vision. Shelly Altman would have saved DAYS. If DAYS gets cancelled hoping their fans realize they have a home with GHGTV and its just adds viewers.

Yup...the classic beats current GH and Days numbers. Tells you both soaps should be canned!

Thanks for the catch, guys.  The weekly averages are done by Nielsen so either they screwed up or ABC/CBS did by not notifying Nielsen to code Friday's episode as 'special'. 

I understand the HH numbers are wrong, what about the demos?  If the demos are correct, Days moved ahead of GH in 2 of the 3 key demos.

 

Agreed - shameful a repeat of a Y&R classic pulled in higher numbers than 2 of the current soaps!
