On July 24th 2015 Jean and Shelly were named the new co head writers for GH.  At the time many GH fans were vocal and frusturated with what the show had become under Ron Carlivati. We GH fans all we wanted was a better GH. Boy little did we know what a treat we were in for. These two ladies had a vision and that vision was smartv. Smarttv is the kind of show that pushes the boundaries, meant for cabletv and excites the pysche. All of that came on GH with improved female characterizations, complex dialogue, vets front and center, history being respected a show that shows what modern soap is today. I just am so thrilled to be able to write this and thanks to all of you who championed a better GH. From the bottom of my heart i am just in tears Happy 1 year to these fabulous women and happy 1 year to smarttv.

A horrible year filled with dull and boring stories. A slew of newbies added on for no reason.Jelly have no vision everything they write is generic, predictable and soulless. All the GH woman are weak and defined by a man. The drudgery at the Cassadine island, The Julexis domestic abuse saga, The Nathan/Maxie/Smurfette triangle, The Morgan/Kiki/Dillon. Carlos has a twin bro this is the crap Jelly came up with.

    • I'm all for it. Get them Nina!
    • I am blown away that Christie Clark is 51, and she debuted 39 years ago. They gave her a lovely script today.  But, I could not think of any other examples in culture of someone able to jump right back into the skin of a character, after virtually retiring from acting years ago. I was trying to recall if Carrie left for a bit with Anna after Roman died (because she wasn't at Bo & Hope's wedding), and then returned as a pre-teen Christie?  Or if she was just SORASed off-screen?  But, whenever I see the character I am reminded how much more trauma she's endured than Sami, and yet she remains such a nice person.
    • Weirdly I feel like Nina was the most sus about the entire situation.  Normally I would have given this one to Carly, but Nina was always kind of trying to make it make sense. I think Nina (and Alexis) are actually really smart characters.  They just constantly get in their own way with dumb plans lol.
    • Rewatching some of 1991 I had to appreciate what a strong week March 5-12 1991 was. Cassandra dies, Nina shoots David, Sheila switces the babies, and drunk Nikki all occurring simultaneously. 1991 and 92 were pretty strong overall.
    • Still loving all the Gio fallout, but the scenes that really surprised me this episode were the ones with Nina and Maxie. I was not expecting Nina to be the one to put together all the pieces about Sasha's baby daddy. This custody hearing is about to get explosive!
    • I really hope after the secret comes out their interactions don't stop
    • BAHAHA  I needed that laugh today. Talk about one note.  I would put Derek and Ashley a notch above Dani. Dani's scenes are basically rinse, lather, and repeat for 60 episodes and counting.  It's as if she was transported from the soap opera Passions onto this soap.  MVJ should put aside her friendship/admiration for Karla and look at the fact that this character isn't wroking as written.
    • Agreed.  It doesn't feel in character at all.
    • You could always tell whenever Douglas Marland enjoyed writing for a particular actor, because he'd pull out all the stops for them; and Julianne Moore was no exception.
    • I'm sorry, but I just can't get past the fact that it was Lois, of all people, who deceived so many people.  No matter how hard Rena Sofer tries to justify Lois' actions - and boy, does she work hard! - it just isn't something Lois would've done.
