April 21, 20169 yr Member Prince's unbelievable guitar solo in a George Harrison tribute in 2004, visibly delighting Harrison's son Dhani. Edited April 21, 20169 yr by Vee
April 21, 20169 yr Member So many good things to hear and see in the video, Dhani is the spitting image of his father. George Harrison's music is so understated in its poignancy. Prince rocked that solo like a Boss! Thanks for posting @Vee. So much greatness gone.
April 21, 20169 yr Member 8 out of the top 10 songs on iTunes are from Prince….and 9 out of the top 10 albums are Prince…..
April 21, 20169 yr Member You know it's real when this happens. Celebrating a genius! #RIPPrince pic.twitter.com/S5bNNeuWdF — Eric Braeden (@EBraeden) April 21, 2016
April 21, 20169 yr Member I didn't know that Prince had written Sheila E. hit Glamorous Life and Chaka's I Feel For You……I knew about Sinead O'Connor's ..Nothing Compares to You.
April 21, 20169 yr Member You know it's real when this happens. I love that and I think Prince would too. Edited April 21, 20169 yr by marceline
April 22, 20169 yr Member Shocked and saddened. An amazing amazing talent. He will be soooo missed. So bizarre how deaths happen in threes. Doris Roberts, Chyna and Prince. Damn. I want a redo of 2016. I want a redo of many of the last years. We've lost sooo many celebs over the last few years. Edited April 22, 20169 yr by KMan101
April 22, 20169 yr Member My local radio station has been playing non stop Prince songs since yesterday and now today.
April 22, 20169 yr Member Yesterday, WMRQ Radio 104 in CT was playing half hour blocks of Prince, and they are a modern rock station. The deejays said it was out of appreciation for his influence on so many of the bands today. Classy!
April 22, 20169 yr Member The more you read and hear about him the more it seems like he was the most talented musician of them all. He played 27 instruments and on his albums would play most of everything you hear. Who does that?!?
April 22, 20169 yr Member And then there's all the stuff he wrote and produced for other people, as Carl mentioned. One of the later ones was his collaboration with No Doubt and Gwen Stefani, on which he was asked to appear and ended up re-working the entire track into something that is unmistakable as Prince: Incidentally, I looked up the original demo of "Manic Monday" as sung by Apollonia and Apollonia 6. My advice: Don't. It's dreadful and there's a reason Prince lost interest. Edited April 22, 20169 yr by Vee
