KYLER PETTIS JOINS "DAYS" CAST...

Kyler Pettis joins the "Days" cast this fall. "Days" will be his first major acting role. Pettis recently appeared on an episode of "Ray Donovan." In a casting call for "Elijah" earlier this year, it stated this: "A 16-year-old, gorgeous, African American male...who also happens to be a high functioning autistic." Based on the casting call and the recent departure of Terrell Ransom Jr., all signs point to Pettis playing the newly-aged Theo Carver. Pettis, 22, was born October 16, 1992 in California.

How much older is Theo gonna be now?

My guess he'll be 16-18

The description says 16...

I predicted this when the rumored Ariana girl was cast.  He looks older than 16, I wonder how his interactions with uncle Chad will come across.

Well ... hello there Theo.

 

Hopefully he can act. It'll be nice to hopefully now see Abe more often and not interacting with a child. It was really time for Abe and Hope's kids to be aged. Hopefully he gets plenty of scenes with Grandpa Stefano.

I imagine the writers will put the character into the DiMera orbit now that he has been SOARED. There was one scene years ago that would be great foreshadowing for that and it was when Tony (Andre or whatever) held Theo at his christening and said "you are a DiMera" or something to that effect, I can't remember it verbatim. The DiMeras need some beefing up.

He's really cute! Although I don't get why they are using a fake name for the casting call. I mean, come on. Then again, Xander really wasn't Xander, so what do I know?
