After watching that promo, GW needs to go. Maybe if FS leaves Days can just recast them both

Sending them off for a month or two before coming back with recasts.

Marshall Williams as Will

And if Freddie exits how about Robert Gorrie as Sonny

LOL Chandler was never going to become a movie star. Sorry. I like him a lot but no. Hopefully if he is taking acting classes the bad habits he developed have gone away (I also partially blame James Scott and his annoying habits). Amazing how much better he now looks in the acting department compared to his replacement. I was beyond ready for his checked-out smirking ass to go but I'd welcome him back.

Agreed. Paul fills the need for either Sonny and Will. IMHO. Bring on someone new (or keep Derrick ... or get Brant Daugherty back) and get rid of Wilson for the time being. I'm tired of them anyway, TBH, especially with Will, although I'd rather watch Sonny. I like Freddie Smith. Sonny's always been underutilized and so was Smith.

I'd only be OK with Chandler back as Will if he loses the awkwardness and embraces playing a gay character. I don't buy he's straight, personally. That's neither here nor there but I think that affected him in the role. JMO. He always seemed uncomfortable and smirky. He had some good moments and I did like him in the role, but he's not the master thespian many want to say he is. Shallow reasons is why many want him back and I'd say they'd be my reasons. I was more than ready for Chandler to hit the bricks when he left. And I don't like how his stans try and make him some victim to the show. Fired, quit, whatever ... doesn't matter. Who tells their boss they're leaving "at some point" so I don't blame DAYS for recasting ASAP and saying bye to him. To me it always seemed mostly amicable, and it never felt like he left on bad terms.

I say bring him back and write Wilson off together. Boom, done. Will doesn't need to be offed. I only want to see Will killed with Guy Wilson in the role, lol. I know that's awful but it's true. Same reason I'm hoping Paige gets offed. Awful actors and whiny characters put out of their misery.

Killing off Will doesn't make sense to me. JMO.

I think Cody Christian would make a decent Will. He really amped us his skills on this past season of Teen Wolf, and if they are trying to make Will a little bitch like Sami he's the perfect choice to play that....he's also close to wills actual age IRL.

    • I am blown away that Christie Clark is 51, and she debuted 39 years ago. They gave her a lovely script today.  But, I could not think of any other examples in culture of someone able to jump right back into the skin of a character, after virtually retiring from acting years ago. I was trying to recall if Carrie left for a bit with Anna after Roman died (because she wasn't at Bo & Hope's wedding), and then returned as a pre-teen Christie?  Or if she was just SORASed off-screen?  But, whenever I see the character I am reminded how much more trauma she's endured than Sami, and yet she remains such a nice person.
    • Weirdly I feel like Nina was the most sus about the entire situation.  Normally I would have given this one to Carly, but Nina was always kind of trying to make it make sense. I think Nina (and Alexis) are actually really smart characters.  They just constantly get in their own way with dumb plans lol.
    • Rewatching some of 1991 I had to appreciate what a strong week March 5-12 1991 was. Cassandra dies, Nina shoots David, Sheila switces the babies, and drunk Nikki all occurring simultaneously. 1991 and 92 were pretty strong overall.
    • Still loving all the Gio fallout, but the scenes that really surprised me this episode were the ones with Nina and Maxie. I was not expecting Nina to be the one to put together all the pieces about Sasha's baby daddy. This custody hearing is about to get explosive!
    • I really hope after the secret comes out their interactions don't stop
    • BAHAHA  I needed that laugh today. Talk about one note.  I would put Derek and Ashley a notch above Dani. Dani's scenes are basically rinse, lather, and repeat for 60 episodes and counting.  It's as if she was transported from the soap opera Passions onto this soap.  MVJ should put aside her friendship/admiration for Karla and look at the fact that this character isn't wroking as written.
    • Agreed.  It doesn't feel in character at all.
    • You could always tell whenever Douglas Marland enjoyed writing for a particular actor, because he'd pull out all the stops for them; and Julianne Moore was no exception.
    • I'm sorry, but I just can't get past the fact that it was Lois, of all people, who deceived so many people.  No matter how hard Rena Sofer tries to justify Lois' actions - and boy, does she work hard! - it just isn't something Lois would've done.
    • Honestly, Olivia had kind of a good reason to keep her son safe from a mobster for two decades.  Sonny literally shot Dante in the chest lol and had multiple family members die, get injured, threatened, kidnapped, etc, etc.   I know you don't watch the show very often, but it's not like Olivia should have shown up and given Sonny and his 18-year-old girlfriend Brenda shared custody of a kid.  That would have been a horrible, life threatening idea.
