DAYS: Newbie cast

This is from Jason.

In the newest edition of Soap Opera Digest comes this casting announcement: Lucas Kerr debuts as Clint, a guy who catches Theresa's eye, on Friday, January 16. Here's how the casting call described Clint: "A 32-40 year old gorgeous male...described as edgy and rugged."

Some fans may remember that Clint is featured in scenes with Melanie and Theresa in late March 2015, as seen in this taping schedule posted by Melissa Reeves many months ago:

Well well well... I approve. Maybe Theresa will finally find a man who stands by her. (yeah, right!)

LOL. You know my usual drill. Must we have more newbies, utilize the vets, etc. I did laugh at the above comment, though.

Is he on contract? I'm not upset at newbies cast for short-term, recurring roles, but DAYS seriously needs to start bringing back actual people from their past. It's just too bad so many returns over the years have been handled like [!@#$%^&*] and screwed up. They've practically exhausted who they can bring back. Or they've pissed off actors who may or may not return (JKJ and Nichols didn't seem overly thrilled with Tomlin, but Nichols has been trolling the Steve/Kayla fanbase on Twitter, apparently)
