Can GH go on without Maurice Benard?

Yeah, but they won't have to. Mo re-signed and will take some time off in January.

However, Mo's exit would just move FrankenTodd/Howarth to The Lead male. Who really wants that?

Oh, is he confirmed? I guess they made him sweat. I had no doubt, though.

what a silly question

I know it is.... I posted the same thing and people on the FB page. And they stupidly said that GH will be canceled if he leaves. SMH

I think the show would thrive without him. He's been front and center for far too long. But I won't hold my breath about him leaving.

I would happily take Maurice on a Tony Geary schedule. I also think it might help his performance level at this point.

I rather see a doctors role take the place... Preferably a HARDY!!

I'd like to see Guiding Light come back. Can we get that too?

It would likely be about the same. More of Filler Miller, Howarth horrifying with his bad haircut, Maura West vamping, those annoying brats mugging, Kukla doing her best Ruth Buzzi, and Stafford eating away the last of the viewer goodwill.

All My Children went on without Susan Lucci. The End.

Yes cause there was a show before him and there'll be one after him too

You've got that right! I know this is hard to beleive to come people but it was actually a pretty good show back then. The Quartermains were front and center for decades. Crime was actually a bad thing back then. and there were actually happily married couples on the show like Steve and Audrey, Bobbie and Tony, Ned and Lois etc...

I wonder if Maurice now makes more than Leslie Charleson (Who started in 1977). Wouldn't be suprised. Even if he gets paid per episode, he'll make more than her by the end of the week.

Crime was glorified during the years Ned and Lois were on the show.

It was at times and at times it wasn't, but it still was a great show.
