Members edgeofnik
Was Y&R only soap unaffected by the 70+ minute press conference last Wednesday? I know B&B, GH and probably DAYS were cut or aired very late because of it.

Administrator Toups Posted November 15, 2014 Author Administrator Share Posted November 15, 2014 Yeah, looks like it affected DAYS/GH/B&B. GH would've definitely hit 3 million viewers.
Members dragonflies
B&B wasn't pre-empted here that day
Members Jeff
Thanks Toups, nice to see an increase for Sweeps for the top 3 soaps. I'm worried about Days. dragonflies, I think it depends where you live? B&B was definitely preempted on the West Coast.
Members Soapsuds
GH demos are still dreadful and they can't even dent into B&B lead….lol…. Nice jump for Y&R in HH and Total Viewers
Members edgeofnik
B&B was pre-empted in 11% of country and Y&R in 7%, which makes the Wednesday ratings even more impressive. GH and DAYS suffered as well. One wonders how well those episoes would've done if not for that 70+ minute press conference. This week's ratings will probably be decent as cold weather started moving in.
Members JONNYSBRO
GH would have been over 3 million without the presumptions and it's still fabulous. It was a huge banner week and even up from last year robins return. The soap that needs help is days it's so flat and dull. It's time for a new head writer at the helm and also slow the show down. It doesn't allow the show to fix what's working and what's not. Lorraine Broderick should be named new head writer.
Members slick jones
I'm presuming you meant preemptions..[just a little pun]
Members RavenWhitney
Poor days, but the management is incompetent. They had no real plan to effectively draw viewers in before Ejami departure. How can three executive producers, two headwaiters and Lorraine Broderick not figure it out. Sad.
