Celestin Cornielle tweeted on April 19 that he "was offered a recurring on #daysofourlives so busy with that.." and on a May 8 Facebook message, he posted "I’m currently playing a pivotal role in the story line of EJ (character played by James Scott)." What "pivotal" role will Cornielle be playing in October, and how will it pertain to EJ's exit from Salem? Only time will tell.

Can Days of Our Lives PLEASE stop filming so far ahead and announcing casting notices that many months ahead of time? I won't even care by the time this dude shows up. Looks like a hitman or some goon, IMO. Nothing against the looks of the actor, just seems to be what they'd cast him for.

I wish they would just stop making announcements. Wasn't Kassie announced in like November and still hasn't popped up? Gabi's departure was announced like last summer. It's ridiculous.

I would expect that her departure announcement would arrive BEFORE she airs on screen. I completely forgot that she's joining the show. I imagine if the production is now tracking at five months now, by end of year, it'll be up to six months.

Celestin Cornielle, who is debuting in a recurring role in September and involved in EJ's last storyline on the show, tweeted today that his character's name is Miguel and that he is a "fun character." Cornielle last appeared on "Days" in October 2007 as Officer Moreno.

Here's his tweet:
"I have actually been rebooted as a much more fun character, Miguel. Expect quite a splash from him come September ''
