But the "victim" is not that credible either. He went to a party for a guy on guy hook and let everything get out of hand. I think he's a sociopath.

Why would the other guy try to kill himself if he's a violent rapist?  He's struggling with homosexuality and I believe he's innocent.

I don't think Taylor was asking to be drugged or get that wasted. I know he shouldn't have lied about basically sexting Eric, he's young, confused and obviously a very horny kid. Remember he didn't want his mom to do anything. I felt really bad for Evy, though.

I think the motives behind Eric's attempt suicide was a three way combo of his parents' divorce, him being in the closet and that secret that he might have committed rape.

The suspense of it all...

A sociopath? You need to stop. Taylor hasn't accused anyone by name yet; his mother has taken the lead with the accusations. He hasn't named Eric. And he may not be clear on what happened that night, like many rape cases where the victim is impaired.

I believe he went there to hook up with Eric; I believe they probably did hook up. Afterwards he got drugged and I think the rest of the team most likely violated him. And Eric either watched or joined in and let the team do what they wanted to the "faggot," because he was too afraid to out himself or go against the group.

I feel for Eric and I think Joey Pollari is giving a great performance but I don't think Taylor is lying at all, or out to get anyone. He just wants all this to go away. Both boys are keeping big secrets about that night.

I think people are misinterpreting my last post. I was ambivalent but he way the guy who attempted suicide came across was very genuine to me and the supposed victim has been so wish washy. I want to believe him but at the same he's been acting so suspicious.

I almost feel like he wanted to have sex and the results weren't exactly what he wanted...

I don't see how this isn't straight forward assault. Even if the kid went to the party looking for sex, his clothes were stained with blood, semen and most importantly, GHB. The blood could possibly be explained away by rough sex, but GHB is an obvious identifier in any kind of sexual assault case. He was drugged and cannot consent. Meaning anyone who touched him is a rapist. That's an obvious no fly zone regarding consensual consent. The fact that they found GHB is more than enough evidence for a rape charge. Once I heard that I knew that the school and Felicity Huffman's character were both in a huge cesspool of trouble, and she is going to look like an even larger fool the more she pushes this victim blaming narrative. Throw the book at all of them.

So disgusted with all of these characters from the school to the football team to the enabling parents who are more concerned with getting their children out of legal trouble than have them take responsibility for their actions. The law enforcement is even more vile.

After last nights episode I'm not at all convinced it was an assault and I completely understood why the police didn't file charges.

Eric came across petulant and annoyed with the whole situation but also truthful. Meanwhile I still get the impression that the other guy (Taylor/Tyler) is hiding something still. He should be grateful his spurned girlfriend was decent enough to support his story and speak her thoughts on it.

The principal played by Felicity Huffman....so terrible and yet so effortless in her devious schemes. That performance at the end was so haunting. I don't know about y'all but I kept expecting something absolutely horrifying to occur during that sequence of some type of scandal.

I haven't had a chance to watch this yet, but from what I am reading I feel like I am going to want to throw a brick wall at FH's character when I am done with this. It's hard to watch this show sometimes because it's so realistic and palpable. The ignorance, stupidity and inherent wrongness of the ethics concerning their actions almost becomes overwhelming.

I need this school to be closed down, it's so disgusting.

    • It's so jarring seeing the changeover from Sherry Mathis to Louan Gideon.  The vibe, mannerisms, and overall personality of Liza changes instantly. The chemistry Sherry has with both David F and Joe Lambie is gone the second the recast happens.  I wonder how viewers took the news of the recast since you didn't have time in between airings before the change happened. Quinn/Sarah... One overacts (Quinn) and one under acts (Sarah). Wendy of 1985 is a good mix of the 1982 sweet Wendy and the 1983/84 vixenish Wendy.
    • Oups!! I guess when i was doing the editing, i left a part of 3169, too (RTL Lounge airs 2 episodes per day back to back). Sorry about that ! Tonight i ll try to record 3171-3172. If i m not mistaken 3172 is missing from YouTube.

    • I would put Felicia in the 'small dose' auntie category because she means well, but comes on too strongly at times.  In small doses, she would be a blast to hang out with.. but in anything larger than a small... she would be exhausting. I tend to prefer lower key people than people that are always 'on' all the time.  Those people can veer off into energy vampire status pretty quickly.
    • I didn't like the Harry story, but Nazar did have a great introduction. He was probably the highlight of last year.  Now that you mention it, I guess the truly dire stories (Nicole, Harper/Drew/Phil, Nicole) didn't start until summer.
    • thank you all for contributing to the Vault. I am slowly getting towards watching the 1998 episodes

    • I pray⏤and I know it's a big prayer⏤that Noel Maxam is somehow able to figure things out budget-wise so we can stop re-dressing existing sets as "new" sets. I know in apartment buildings apartments can generally look the same, but I'm over it on this soap. The last time he was executive producer was in 2011 when the original Horton Town Square was introduced, and we had some other sets get introduced around this time (likely pre-commissioned prior to his election), but I'm trying to have some hope he can pull this off. Let's [finally] see it.
    • Definitely not the best of RC's breakdowns. I don't know what it says that I could pick up his trademarks yesterday 30 minutes in without even knowing that he did one. There was something more...quirky/boardstroked...about Dani. Though I love the Dani/Nicole scenes, she was just a little too hip?...which made me think back to the episode when she broke into Bill/Hayley's house. Then watching the episode later on, I saw Hayley was being used as a punchline to the more interesting and relevant Bill/Ted scenes (see you all were just talking about how you hoped they got scenes...one thing this show is great at...what people want on this board...they already have the foresight for it. The reason I feel the DNA test will get mentioned @Cheap21 in more detail). And then poor Anita reduced for the most part propping up an album.    Needless to say, not my favorite RC episode. And since we are in aftermath week, I just smh. And barely worth a rewatch. BUT...was there good for me?    Yes. Thankfully, we still got good aftermath beats regardless of the breakdown.   Like I said, I really like the Dani/Nicole scenes. But I love their dynamic. And I was looking forward to the shoe being on the other foot once the SilkPress storyline hit climax. Quirks aside, it did not disappoint. Dani came in, and she came in fierce for her sister. I loved her attacking Eva. And then her being surprisingly introspective about Nicole due to her own experience. No wonder Nicole reacted to her being self-aware. So did I.    Meanwhile Bill and Ted finally met up. I'm kinda sad that we did not get that sooner given the scenes that played out sidepiece in the background aside. It might have been interesting to see more of their status as non-Duprees coming into the family explored.    And of course I can't leave without mentioning Eva vs SilkPress Sheila which was the highlight. Both of them were giving. And SilkPress was just so cold with it. I did love that Eva finally stopped letting her gaslight her. Sad to see the duo break up. But I did love that she went to Ted. So...the next turn begins.   And speaking of turns...uh oh at Kat and Tomas. I'm sure he won't be staying away from her. So most definitely, Kat vs Eva ain't over. It will be interesting to see how it goes now that most people know that Kat was right all along.
    • Nah I enjoyed it much more last year because of the Harry plot that ended during that time. Nazar being introduced and them. But this time it is so lame and nothing I like forward to anymore and I’m one of them long time fans. Of course I would be upset if they would cancel it but maybe take a year off or two and return refreshed
