I can't blame them for laying some groundwork; were GH to ever be reinvented a la AMC, a teen triangle with Cameron, Spencer, Emma and maybe another girl or boy is the first thing I'd think of doing. (I also think they should've aged Cameron to tweenhood a while ago.) But playing a mini-triangle with these little kids, while cute by itself perhaps, is a bit much on top of the Quartermaines' Raccoon Hunt, another incredibly interminable round of the invincible Heather Webber, and Chief of Staff Obrecht.

I can take a good amount of camp and whimsy in doses, but forced camp and whimsy aggressively layered on top of each other in the same space like this is too much.

Aside from Ron's obnoxious promoting, I don't think the Emma, Spencer, and Cameron stuff is that bad or "creepy". I mean kids have "boyfriends" and "girlfriends" at that age (or at least me and my peers did).

Heather has long outstayed her welcome. How the !@#$%^&*] did she get some thugs? And doesn't the hospital realise she's missing?

    • March 27, 2025 - GH Sherilyn Wolter (Celia Quartermaine) visited Emma Samms (Holly Sutton Scorpio).  They are friends in real life.
    • Poor Philip. I appreciate how seriously his and Xander’s scenes were taken though. It felt like real drama and not like a big joke. You could actually feel Xander’s pain and anger. It adds another dynamic to the Kiriakis family storylines and I’m looking forward to the effects that this is going to have across the canvas. I can see them weaving Kate and Roman into this storyline as well. And it would be really nice if this somehow helped cause conflict for Stephanie/Alex too, especially because of what Alex did today. With any luck, Stephanie will be furious about it.  And I’m glad that Sarah has Maggie to confide in about her secret. I also liked seeing Steve and Shawn (and their matching jackets

) continue to be on the case. Kevin, revealing everything to them is another interesting turn in this storyline. Plus, it seems the writing has improved for Shawn as well.
    • TBF, I don't think we've seen her interact enough with the "have-nots" to know if she is or isn't. It's possible, but I don't think you can say that from her interactions with Eva and Silkpress.
    • You're right - though I did confuse his name with an actual actor who was on Dynasty.

    • "Might" is not "is". And I was talking about the specific case about her attitude to Eva.
    • But she can still be a priveliged elitist. She might have the same attitude to anyone from 'the wrong side of the tracks' whether they had an agenda or not. Nicole seems to be an outlier in her family. Her parents, kids and sister seem to think themselves above reproach.
    • Damian's clothes have definitely been a specific look -kinda reads 70's pimp to me . I guess it's a trend?? but it seems more suited to Holden. JR is 51  and I guess Damian is supposed to be a little younger but it looks a little odd on him in my book. But at least they're trying. The men's clothing has been bland/generic for years-either suits or basic casual stuff interchangeable  b/w them.
