My thoughts on the Christmas week that was..

1) I like the twist of EJ finding the 'NF' badge.. this gives up more EJami scenes of them scheming, plotting, and screaming at each other which I am all for! I also love that we are still using the river set. It seemed like an expensive set since we actually see real water (and it looks dang good!) so I'm shocked they're still using it for money sake, but I'm glad they are!

2) LOVED Stefano's return "I'm Baaacckkk!" Joe M is amazing!

3) Victor/Maggie's make up was a little rushed for me.. but I know it needed to be done in time for the holidays... all in all I love these two together so I'm glad they are getting some airtime together (and not involving Dr. Dan)

4) As for the Christmas stuff! A VERY well done Days Christmas! I LOVE how the writers are respecting the show's history and remembering characters who are either off-canvas or passed away (just as we do in real life) It was so good to see Doug/Julie for TWO episodes, seeing JJ & Abby remembering Jack, Theo remembering Lexie, JJ mentioning Jo and Vern, Kate talking to Billie on the phone, Julie mentioning Mike in Africa, Ciara mentioned Zach and Shawn. Those quick mentions never take anything away from story and I appreciate them so much as a long-term viewer.

5) This is more of a cinematography thing, but I LOVE how the Christmas Eve episode began with Abby gazing on the nativity scene (close-up angle shot) and the episode ended with Abby running back into the living room to put the baby Jesus in the nativity scene, and ended with a close up shot again. That was classy!

6) The reading of the Christmas story was amazing! Having Anne "the elf" ALMOST ruin the story was great, only to be ruined by Santa..a and it was great to see Abby read the story! The passing of the torch to the next generation of Horton's!

7) It was also great to see Henderson and Lucas and see that the writers remembered that Christmas Eve is Hope's birthday!!

8) JJ playing Silent Night on the guitar and the camera panning over several other characters/scenes was great! Love the way that was played out.

9) Also love that we got to see a Brady Christmas and see them celebrating in the Brady Pub! I love when we see the Brady's celebrate in the Pub during Holidays.

10) The best part of the week was without a doubt.. Christmas at the Horton house Loved all the characters who were there. They devoted quite a bit of time to the hanging of the ornaments (which I appreciate). I loved Jennifer's comment that the Horton house wasn't just hers.... but all of theirs And finally, I loved Maggie's monologue (although I wish it would have been Julie's) at the end and her message to the audience, fading up to Tom and Alice's ornaments at the top of the tree and fade to black. A great Christmas episode.

I hope everyone had a great Christmas and has a great and safe New Year's Eve!!! Here's to Days continued success and great stories in 2014!!

I enjoyed the Christmas episodes, DAYS sticks to its formula beautifully and it never disappoints.

And for the record, I find Julie truly obnoxious, I'm glad Maggie is positioned as Horton matriarch.

Really enjoyed the Christmas episodes, well except for Naggie/Victor and Daniel. I can't believe Daniel and his kid got to hang their own ornaments on their own tree. WTF was that!

DAYS has the best kids and I'm glad they haven't recasted Theo/Ciara/Ally/Johnny since 2007, 2008? They've really come into their own.

Her voice is fine......so is everything else about her. LOL Honestly, I could care less if Jordan isn't that interesting - I just get too mesmerized by Chrishell's beauty.

I have even started to LIKE Daniel recently, but the show had to go ahead and ruin that with JJ pimping Dannifer non-stop this week like a lunatic and them getting to hang their own ornaments in their house. I know some people were offended when Bonnie's huge ornament caused the tree to fall over, but this was... gross.

Sami and Nicole both had good hair yesterday which was a shocker. I wish they'd have more good days than bad. Meanwhile that Teresa has a hairstyle fit for Grandma Caroline

LMAO At Brady's lines about Kristen and then going nuts. I didn't expect Daniel to come in and confront him so soon.

Theresa is such an amazing bitch. One of the best new creations on any soap for years now.

JJ... Yeah, I don't like his propping of Daniel. He has gone too far in supporting Daniel and Jennifer. He could still like Daniel without wanting his mother & him together. But they haven't completely neutered him. I think he functions in this storyline in an expected way, which is to try to get better in order for Theresa to mess with him. But he's still a little snarky and not saccharine, so I hope the writers give him more reasons to be angry soon. And they better take advantage of the actor while they have him, because this dude will one day be gone and I can see him getting a primetime career.

Yeah, who didn't see it coming that it was Will following Sonny and Gabi. And he overhears Gabi saying she murdered Nick and CM's reaction is mild confusion? UGH. I cannot wait for his sorry, bored ass to GTFO.

LOL at EJ dragging Sami through the woods and finding so much evidence. Nice to see Sami show some remorse over what happened to Nick. I wonder if it was really Nick's body or just another red herring.

i didn't! I thought and still think its Nick that was following them. Didn't they show the person looking outside the apartment? Will was already inside the closet IIRC. Now him popping out of there to hear the murder confession was a shock

I think Sami is having another hallucination. With all the crap she was given Gabi, she came across as such a novice when it came to covering up a crime. She was ridiculous!

Brady high as a kite is so much fun. I loved him trying to sow doubt into Maggie's mind about Victor's sincerity to convince her not to move in. I know Victor is absent alot but surely between him and Henderson, they must be wondering why all the glass surfaces in the K-mansh are coated with white dust? Naggy is gonna be all over that!

Then he throws JJ under the bus again to deflect attention from Daniel - too funny. Later he speaks into the camera during his interview with Nicole telling Kristen that one day she will be old and saggy and no-one will want to have sex with her!

Nick's body popping out the river like a jack in the box was badly done, but the bloated body itself was impressive. Too bad it's Sami's imagination only.

Will in the closet and his reaction At least there is only one week left of this "actor"...

3 cliffhangers on a Friday (2 lame though!)

Initially I suspected Nick or even Greetings!Man but then thought perhaps Will started following them after his discussion with T (he certainly would have run into them on his way out of Club TBD). The timing with Will following them and then getting into the closet works because we saw the follower looking through the open door (who the hell just leaves their door open?) and sometime later, Gabi and Sonny returned from the bedroom. So Will could have easily walked in and hid in the closet while they were in the bedroom. But, again, my initial though was Greetings!Man followed them, saw the text on Gabi's phone and stole the coat, which is why it was a shock to me too when Will came out of the closet (oh, the jokes!)

Haha, that's typical Sami, shooting her mouth off and not always having something to back it up.

Yeah, they did a good job with that.
