I still wonder if Taylor would have survived if IR had remained in the role/the character had gotten a worthy recast or if she would've faded into the background after a while...

I don't know. It's hard to say. I think the character had alot of potential though. I always wonder about characters and where they would be if the original actress/actor had not left or the writers had gone in a different direction with the character.

I remember Taylor catching alot of flack in my circle of friends because she was a bit of a snob. But I loved that about her...and her mother Vivienne.

Given how ABC tried to ship out almost all of their black characters starting in 1994 or 1995, I don't think she would have lasted. It's just too bad the last memories of her are that awful Kelli Taylor.

I see red when people slut shame her especially when characters they love have done worse and whatnot

I'm not a huge fan of hers but the slut shaming really bothers me too.
