Project Orpheus shoutout!

I hope this is the first of many candid interviews on Talk Tempo. I need Brooke to interview Erica Kane when she gets back this Fall.

Loved when David mentioned how he's saved Erica Kane and many members of her family biggrin.png

LMAO @ Colby staring Celia up and down

OMG...I CAN'T take much more of Dr. Anders.

(To Cassandra): "THERE'S NO REASON YOU CAN'T BE UP & WALKING AROUND! DO YOU UNDERSTAND?!"

Jesse: "Woah, doc, take it easy!"

Anders: "Excuse me?!"

Jesse: "What part of 'take it easy' is confusing to you?!"

Anders (smirking): *walks off*"

Jesse: (under his breath) "Jerk!"

Seriously...WTF is up with that guy!

Dixie told him he needed bedside manners. LOL.

I thought the exact same thing! I was sure that's where they were headed but it didn't happen.

Then David could have rejoindered with "why did you shoot that guy five times in the back?" While her justified anger at Jim was hot for what he did to Laura and threatened to do to Jamie, Brooke's murderous intent was cold, planned! David shooting JR was much more a crime of passion, mere moments after seeing his daughter die in front of him.

alexisfan you were right about David/Cara having scenes biggrin.png I hadn't seen the preview. Wow as usual VI/LH killed it and the scene was left on a tearful/powerful note. I can't wait for David to find out everything!

HR/Jane works the background like nobodies business.

Yes during the Chandler Media/Talk Tempo scenes!

Still not liking Dr. Anders at all. I agree. He's got a huge stick up that ass of his. Ugh. Get him off of my screen. Why are they writing him like that? Is he supposed to be their version of 'House' because it's not working. At all.

Are these still Marlene/whats-her-name's episodes?

I don't know why it just clicked in my head after that JR/David scene that JR is recovering so well because of the steroids. LOL.

And I'm so loving this JR/Cara/David triangle setup we've got going here. JR vs. David is fantastic. David reading JR like a book is a home run. I just love this!

Wasn't expecting Cass to find out so fast. Very sad ending but well done. I really wonder where they'll take this. I think it would be nice if they integrated Bianca in somehow.

Two fantastic episodes! I can't wait for next week!! You already know!! biggrin.pngbiggrin.pngbiggrin.pngbiggrin.png

Yep!

    • If NBC could have for seen the ratings of Lovers & Friends (the replacement for Somerset).. they would have for sure kept Somerset on the air longer. https://jason47.com/days/ratings1976.html  (ratings for Somerset in the final year) https://jason47.com/days/ratings1977.html (ratings for Lovers & Friends short run...getting as low as a 2 rating).

    • I liked them, too, and was really disappointed it never went anywhere. The whole art theft story was ridiculous, but they had a nice chemistry. Certainly nicer than Alan with Christine. With her, he looked like the funny uncle. The worst thing they did to Bolger, IMO, was having Phillip write that DREADFUL novel and dramatizing it while he wrote it. GAG, that has to be in the running for one of their worst storylines that didn't involve wacky things like clones or time travel. Soaps rarely do school storylines, or don't do them for very long. Not the case so much in the early days of soaps, but after GH took off in the late 70s other soaps took their lead and would catapult teens/young adults into adult stories right away. That's one reason Phillip and Mindy ended up with so many ex-spouses--they started getting married really young. They shipped Dina and Cameron off really fast after high school and stuck Alan Michael in a marriage storyline with Harley. Did he EVER go to college? I don't think so. It may also partly explain why Quint and Annabelle had to go, beyond TPTB wanting to do a cast sweep. Teaching is not a profession that plays well on a soap. Quint definitely had to quit being Indiana Jones, because that wore thin really fast, but they didn't do him favors by making him a professor. If they wanted to keep him, they should have done what they did with Amanda (who was in another dead-end soap job, concert pianist)--have him work at Spaulding as one of the major stockholders.
    • Judith McConnell (Augusta) and Denise Alexander (Lesley) were great screen partners on GH.  They got into some stellar arguments in character in the medicine room.
    • He also commented that Brad knows that fans are sick of the constant fake deaths on this show: Finn, Sheila, etc and that it's hard to take this seriously if it's another fake death

    • I just don't think Brad Bell has it in him to actually kill off Liam. He should have killed off Eric when he had the chance. I know John McCook is an original cast member, but Eric is even more useless than Liam. Eric should have died and then it would be revealed that he died without a valid will, so Donna, as his wife, inherits everything, including his shares in Forrester Creations.
    • I think we all will, isn't that how soaps work? lol
    • ^^ I'll believe it when it actually happens.
