What if it was never dropped, just delayed? Or maybe it was dropped then revived when Stafford decided to go bye bye. Perhaps, I wonder whether it will happen and this will be the event that precipitates Phyllis' (Syphyllis...haha, love it!) exit from GC. Oh well... Devon just wants to contribute but Tyler doesn't want him to do it because of his crush on Lily and wanting to work with her. That is why they are arguing. Times like this is when I regret that they ever did that few weeks of Devon having a crush on Lily. Folks will never let him rise above that. I'm bringing up the fact that he sticks his nose in other people's business when it isn't his concern, regardless if Lily is his sister. Devon himself isn't a saint. But I get it though. Devon makes his mistakes just like everyone else. But I don't think that this is one of them. Shucks, I want to see Lily with Tyler SSSSOOOO BAD...I want to see her ditch Cane SSSSOOO BAD...but I am not going to harp on Devon for telling her the truth. Am not mad at him for trying to do his job and getting into it with that fine Tyler...matter of fact, I want to see Devon and Tyler get into it every day because they both looked so damn good arguing...Yes! Make them rivals...I want to see Tyler get pissy at Devon and go after Roxy to teach Devon a lesson...I want to see Devon curse him out for even looking Roxy's way...I want to see Devon crush on Hilary then I want to see her fall for Tyler to fuel their rivalry....then I want to see Lily on the side line going crazy as the fight over woman after woman that AINT HER. It was about Devon's input not being considered at work. I think he is frustrated in wanting to contribute but not being allowed to do so. But it seems folks only can see that they are arguing about Lily...that was not the case IMO. I don't see the connection between Devon needing to care about his own love life if you are not asserting that he is only arguing with Tyler because of Lily. I thought it was clear that the argument was about Tyler not considering Devon's input. Now his reasons for not considering Devon's input is because he wants to hold onto what he and Lily did together as some sort of tie to her still. Devon called him out on that. But that doesn't make it the reason that Devon was upset. At least I didn't get that was the reason that Devon was upset. As for Lily, he lashed out at her because she came in with the same attitude. Didn't want him to change anything and he called her on her that as well. Let me also say that it was priceless the way that Devon tried to call the publishers (or whoever) and Tyler snatched his phone from his ear...In whose world is that okay...that is fighting actions to most folks. Tyler and Lily's personal drama was messing with his professional work. Also, he is trying to look for his sister although it is far to late for that. They don't want it to be an affair. They set the feelings up and are moving him on so when Lane split, lily and tyler won't carry that karma. Am all for that. As for Devon. I also think he is right. He wants to do his job but Tyler resents his presence. Everything Devon said was true. I thought it was low of Tyler to hint at Devon being hired because of his daddy....uhm, Tyler was also hired because Devon's daddy was/is sleeping with his sister and Neil wanted to prove to Leslie that he wasn't so stiff. I expect Lily to tumble into bed with Tyler the second that she and Cane separate. She has it so bad for Tyler, her tongue is practically hanging out, she will be on her knees soon enough. LOL!
