LOL doesn't she -- glad she has something seemingly legit, I got tired of them calling her a Glee star when I think she was on a handful of episodes.

Ok, I've seen enough! This chit is awful! Gonna change the channel. I tried.

I will say, however, that I'm happy to see a young black woman at the center of the show and her nemesis is black as well.

But again, I've seen enough! Awful!

LMAO! I love you And! You're just like my BFF but she couldn't last more than a few seconds.

I don't mind it to a degree... I'll give it a few more gos. I can't deal with the lead, she's weak as hell and I can't get behind this character that is so eager to please like Jelena doesn't look no older than her and she looks up to her on this high caliber and she wants to be the other girl for Halloween... GTFO with that mess.

That was a fun soapy like reveal... it'll be interesting to see how it plays out during the season and she does not look biracial much like the first Drew on OLTL. She just needs to be toned down.

I really wish people would stop with the looks biracial crap. There is no distinct biracial look. Biracial people come in a range of shades and I think I even heard that the lead actress's father is white. I wanna like this because its liked a scripted Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Making the team mixed with Bring it On and every recent dance movie. But the most interesting character is the stripper and the best part of the epi was the end dance with the cliffhanger.

And why did the captain always stand on the sidelines including at the end during the practice dance? And when she did go out on the floor all she did was hair flip and vogue like an AKA. Oh and they are really forcing the bad girl vixen thing. She's more highschool mean girl and seeing her riding reverse cowgirl on her basketball player boyfriend doesn't change that.

And I really don't care about the mystery with Mia.

And there were several things about the way they portrayed the NBA that annoyed me. Like the players being at practice the same time as the girls would never happen. And most of those professional cheerleaders have other jobs because that not a gig that pays well at all.

I hope that we start seeing the stuff he keeps talking about soon on the show. I'm still not even sure what Ahsha's motivation is for being a Devil Girl. Her mother having been one is a weak reason since her mother doesn't even want her to be one.

It's growing on me. I'm just going to need the entire younger cast to take some refresher courses in acting. Especially that girl that plays Asha. And I'm going to need the writers to make Asha a bit darker b/c her being syrupy sweet makes me wanna root for Jelena.

Same Asha being all smiles and giggles was a little irritating and it made me understand for a little bit why Jelena is so annoyed by her.

Not sure what I feel about the mom. If it were my mother she would have called the FBI by now if I hadn't returned home or called in and she had no idea where the hell I was.

The photo shoot was pretty hot though I'll have to admit. I like how they incorporated the ballet aspect into it. That fine black guy who did the crack at the end though...God almighty. And Asha's boyfriend aint too shabby either lol...

    • Seeing Peter Bergman (Jack) and Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki) act opposite each other really makes me mad that their short-lived reunion in 2012 was just that... short-lived. I've always loved the Jack/Nikki pairing.
    • No.  I recall there was also a mention about how distracting it was EOB's Gwen wasn't wearing nail polish as well.  That it was someone's pet peeve. And, yes, the fact characters can have a manicure in prison is the wildest continuity issue here.
    • Can anyone remember Mary Ellen Stuart's run as Jenny? I'm trying to fill in the cracks for missing stuff that we overlooked.  Bulletpoints:  * Dated Ross * Rusty's police partner * Directly responsible for Dinah coming forward about George Stewart (Cam's father)
    • But that's not weird... nail polish is allowed in prisons via commissary. Same with general makeup, haircuts, and hair colouring products.
    • This is DAYS, the show that said you could brainwash anyone with simple kitchen appliances.  An actor's nail polish or lack thereof should be the least of our concerns, lol.
    • It was not that she wasn't wearing nail polish, it is that she managed to get a manicure in prison
    • "We're Knot Done Yet": the name of this lovely podcast AND what JVA tells her plastic surgeon at every appointment. In other news, Michele Lee is reminding me more and more of my old music teacher from elementary school, and I couldn't STAND that bitch.
    • I apologize if this has been covered already, but does anyone know whether Douglas Marland was HW'ing by that point?  If he was, then I see what he meant when he said (in so many words) that he had inherited a mess when he started at GH.  Aside from Alan and Monica, none of that material seems very promising.  The story with Mark Dante and the Corbins is the wrong kind of predictable (y'know, the kind where you know what's going to happen, but you just don't give a crap?), the stuff with Scotty and Laura is cute but toothless, I don't know WHAT the hell Gina and Steve Carlson's character are arguing about and Rick Webber has to be the dumbest man alive not to see David Hamilton twirling his invisible moustache over how to make a killing off Lamont Corbin's declining health.  (By the way, "LAMONT CORBIN"?  What is this, "The Shadow"?  And "Corbin Limited" sounds like some jive I'd hear over on Y&R.) In a way, it's kind of like watching today's GH, right down to the dialogue that's serviceable and pushes plot along but says nothing about the characters' inner lives.
    • It absolutely was; the narrative was there, and they followed it promptly. Maybe that's back when women had babies at young ages?!?!?
