Yes! Hopefully this is step one to getting rid of him. Now if they'd just undo bringing back Roger Howarth and that swoop over bang, Michael Easton and that bad ass ponytail, and trifling a** Kiki, I'll be content.

I doubt it. He's been in very heavy story since "Cartini" took over. I think if he's on recurring it's his choice, to try to move beyond soaps.

Aww, I like what I've seen of Spinelli. I like that he's not a typical "soap hunk" kind of character. I like his manner of speech and his relationship with his fellow oddball Ellie. I think being recurring does not necessarily mean less airtime or story in this day and age.

That would be funny if he indeed went recurring because he hopes to be hired by JFP at Y&R as an "FOJ" though.

All I know is that once SBu left, Port Chuckles began dropping like flies. And the status change says a lot about that "heavy" story when you don't care enough about the point of contention to have him on contract. Spinelli is nothing to this show, and it has not been holding BA back from other options. His contract was up, and my guess is that FRon decided not to renew - BA agreed.

They're usually fairly blunt when they want someone gone - what they did with Johnny, for instance. I don't feel that with Spinelli. But I hope you are right, as this character is a vile piece of [!@#$%^&*].
