I think she might have cancer or some other medical problem to make her "sympathetic" after her betrayal of Katie. Like Donna, viewers should be easily distracted by shiny objects so a sick Brooke ought to lead to forgiveness or forgetting. Maybe Kaite will fill even worse and Bill will siffer from not being able to hold Brooke's hand all night.

Wouldn't that be up drama alley though? They certainly won't have her die but they could give her a scare and then take it all back...false test results or something. Brooke bodly facing her mortality and all those agonizing expressions before the phone call telling her it was a mistake or a medical miracle that she's recovered.

I still think that Brooke might be pregnant despite this menopause diagnosis. Notice the doctor talked about waiting for test results. I just hope that I am wrong.

I'm 100% sure she is pregnant. The way they are creating the story with the menopause, the promo that showed shocked faces. No one will be shocked if a 52 year old woman was menopausal, but her having a child by her sister's husband? Now that's a scandal. And I'm sure that's the situation here.

I re-watched the promo. I think that Brooke is pregnant and the menopause diagnosis is a set up. Her hair is different in the final scene where she says that she does not want this. She probably goes back to the doctor for the test results and the doctor tells her that she is pregnant. I am so on a very long B&B break when this happens.

I really can't wait for it. It would be so over the top and crazy even for a soap that I will be all for it! I really hope she doesn't abort it or at least do it after everyone knows and the SCANDAL is HUGE. I want the character trashed and abused in every way. Brooke's misfortunes and craziness has always been very entertaining. I want to see the tears from one eye and the MISSSTAKE monologues.

I hated how the Bridget scandal was covered up and never leaked to the press. Even if she isn't pregnant, her affair needs to come out and she needs to be publicly humiliated

I am convinced that people are wrongly getting their hopes up about Brooke being publicly humiliated. It did not happen with Bridget so it is unlikely to happen now. Other than hurting Katie who will eventually forgive her, I think Brooke gets away it. Hell, she will likely end up with Bill as the ultimate prize.

I don't have my hopes up - just wishing with all my might. Bold lives in a universe of their own where the things Brooke do can be rationalized because she's such a passionate woman. Puke! What I want and what I'm going to get are more than likely 2 totally different things. This will boil down to Katie telling everyone that this is her fault because BB only did what she told them to. Just you watch. THIS is when I tune out once again!
