How sad but she suffered for so long this might be a gift.    I hope they play this song in dirge fashion at her funeral.   That would be a nice touch.

R. I. P. to fellow Mouseketeer, Annette Funicello. She was always so sweet to us little mice.

I know that she'd been suffering for quite a while (since the 90s, if I'm not mistaken), so I'm glad that she's finally free of pain and at peace.

I am a total fanatic when it comes to the beach party movies...

She was diagnosed with MS in 1987, and went public with it in 1992. Her last acting appearance was in the TV movie based on her autobiography in 1995.

She fought so hard, and was a real inspiration to generations of Americans. She was so sweet and had a timeless appeal. I liked how in the last years of her career she was happy to throw herself into projects that were tongue-in-cheek, yet not malicious.

This is where I first saw her. I watched this movie a few too many times, and she was the main reason. It's silly nonsense but she was a lot of fun.
