Most likely the new roles cant resemble the OLTL ones in any way, shape or form.

I guess I'm the only one who:

a. actually preferred SJB as Claudia over the Slagbeast

b. thought that NL did far better as Rebecca than as bootleg Emily

I too thought NL was better as Rebecca. I thought the mistake with Rebecca was sticking her in Emily's spot with Liz, Nik, and Lucky. I thought Claudia would've done better with that group instead of Sonny and Jason.

I still don't want all these OLTL actors back though

I must admit, it's the OLTL characters that got me watching GH, but now it's the GH vets that have made me stick around. Still, I did like Todd's storyline, not gonna lie

ABC shoulda given the actors year long coontracts not 3 year deals given that PP had til Feb 2013 to make the shows work & they did.

Todd most likely not & he will leave LLanview after a few months back. No need for John IMO and Starr can easily be recast

With the exception of Starrr, I dont' think PP recasting the other 2 is necessary. OLTL was successful long before John McBain and Todd Manning and did quite well when Roger left. The actors/performers were the draw and because they don't wish to return, move on to something new. FRon counted chickens before they hatched, and now have to be really clever to work the 3 back onto the canvas as other characters, expecially since they ate up so much screentime as OLTL characters just recently. But I'm up for whatever gives me LW and Roger together onscreen! I don't like Todd Manning as is anyhow. Time to move forward, and I think OL 2.0 should do the same.

I think it's time PP surrender the characters, and if not, the outcome is the same. In regards to PP, it's rather stupid, really

Natalie does not need John, and although Kassie DePaiva believes she needs Roger, Blair would do just fine w/out him. Writers and EPs used to have such confidence and skill. Sigh...

UGH Cartooni will focus on his pets more than GH. And casting the same actors in different roles has worked out well in the past like Bill Eckert,

Rebecca, Claws to name a few. This will bomb then ABCD will have to fire Cartooni and cancel GH.

Why would they have to fire Cartooni AND cancel GH? I'm confused. If they cancel, can't they just leave the 2 losers in place?

Funny thing is, I'm looking at Twitter and some of the same people who were calling FRon GH's messiah just a few days ago are now calling them idiots when nothing really has changed here. LMAO! I love it!

After Roger comes back to OLTL, I bet he and Victor get written off together. And maybe Starr stays in LA. Throw in an alive Cole and I won't complain. I could see them recasting John, especially since he has a kid with Natalie.

This is [!@#$%^&*] ridiculous though and is only gonna force them onto the canvas even more than they already were. Bad call.
