There's a great new Vanessa Marcil interview in SOD. She is extremely modest about her place in the show's history, intimidated by the legends who are back on the show who are even before her time, and grateful for the show continuing to ask her back. She calls GH and Brenda her first love. She sidesteps writing issues diplomatically by basically saying an actor's job is to make what they are given something their character would do (which I agree with), but also adds that this time around everything that comes out of her mouth "feels really natural," "which is not always the case." She's still in touch with and close friends with Wendy Riche. Lots more ... Great issue of SOD!
