After years of "I bet the new guy they hired is CJ" on the boards during ABC OLTL, which obviously never panned out, it would be hilarious if PP actually brought the character back along with the original child actor.

Sarah came back in 2003, she was about 18

In some ways, CJ is the forgotten family member that the viewers remember, but the soap opera acts like he doesn't exist. If they did bring those characters back that would be real news.

I so want Ilene back as Roxy but just cant with reasoning that OLTL hasnt asked Ilene is because they cast JWOW in a role that is totally not Roxy Balsom.

Bringing back the child actor - at least, one that has not gone on to be famous or grown up in the role - is also virtually unheard of. Even when GL briefly brought Kimberly J. Brown back as Marah, Brown had garnered a fair amount of film and TV exposure. That's what makes me very reluctant to believe that might happen here. (That and the fact that neither Cord nor Tina are on canvas.) I think it's far more likely Amber Skye is doing another role solo. But I'd get a real kick out of it if they really were back as C.J. and Sarah.

It would also finally make a case for bringing back Chris McKenna, another ex-child actor the Susie Horgan regime had a past with. But with today's bizarre round of Bruce Michael Hall rumors - another one I don't believe - I think Carl and I are pretty much the only people on Earth who would welcome Hall back as Joey.

I don't see why Nikki/JWoww would keep Roxy away. I don't believe the show has made that argument, either.

If they're not bringing Ilene back, I'd settle for J-Woww playing a recast Roxy who found a good surgeon and a name change.

I think it's just way too soon for anyone to assume they won't ever bring Roxy back.
