KDP and GA played a couple on GL over 25 years ago, which fizzled so I'd be surprised if OLTL would think this could potentially work. Grant is way too old for Kevin and it would be confusingly bizarre. If there was a crossover possibility with AMC, I could see Alec on OLTL with the other member of family Jane (whether his wife/ex-wife or sister on AMC).

Yes, that's right! Wasn't she around when Alan-Michael (Carl Evans) first parachuted into Springfield and Alan was away (though there was a phone call). I remember watching that episode on YouTube or on the DVD release.

Anyway ... that'd be interesting to see again. IDK that they clicked for me watching that episode but I don't think they look bad together so that could be a pull. If Grant's with OLTL on-screen, that is.

That would be a great tie in.

With AMC jumping ahead 5 years, I don't see the shows doing any crossoversI wasn't going by actual age bc DG isn't much younger (4 year gap). The difference is DG has always looked much better than those his own age as he's aged extremely well. I think GA more or less looks his age which I think is too old for what Kevin should be, which is early 40s.

Yes Chelsea and Phillip were dating during the BBQ of 1987 which is on the DVD release, and KDP and GA were the cover photo of SOD for that anniversary. I'd prefer GA and KDP romantically on screen over GA playing Kevin (and not just the age issue, but the fact that Grant favors JvD much more than ES in acting and looks, and Kevin is Viki's biological child and not Clint's son.)

Grant Aleksander? Now that's intriguing. The idea of seeing Phillip and Ross together on-screen again gives me the warm fuzzies.

I wouldn't read too much into it. This production schedule has been insanely tight. We've gone from the Deadline announcement that the shows were coming back to actual taping in two months. OLTL probably got pushed back for purely logistical reasons. Maybe now that AMC is actually taping they realized that 3/11 wasn't feasible.

It is definite Grant is involved (as Jerry wouldn't lie about his friend Grant), but Jerry didn't say what Grant was doing with OLTL just that he would be involved. Grant could possibly working in a behind the scenes capability, though we shall see.
