Just read on Wiki he went back to NYC. That was around the time Todd was kidnapped. I would like to see his character return.

Oh, no, Travis was gone long before Todd was kidnapped in 2007. In the fall of 2004, Starr got - I think an email from him saying he'd met a girl at camp or in New York. That was it.

I'm confused--do we mean kindapped by Margaret or the whole retconned Victor Jr mess (which is what I thought was meant) though TSJ was there by the time of Travis I'm pretty sure.

Yeah, no. Todd was abducted in March of 2003, over a year before Travis first appeared.
