The continuity is still there as KDP said she's playing it as she knows Todd & Carly had sex

That's her choice though. Maybe the continuity isn't broken. Obviously they can't show GH clips so perhaps they want to present what happened on GH as sort of plot points that happened during the year break, treating them like new twists if that makes sense. They will be for a large part of the audience who didn't tune into GH.

Yeah I could see them doing that

Will they be able to even mention Carly be name?

I dont see why not

Watching now...Erika looks marvelous! The recaps are so well put together

They really put an effort to this. It was quite good.

And I've never been more than a casual watcher of OLTL

They didn't mention the GH stuff because it's not immediately relevant to lapsed OLTL viewers. It's background to potentially play out later on. I'm sure it still exists. With Todd, obviously the primary story is the Todd/Victor saga - how he and Blair discuss his affair with Carly is really secondary to all of that drama, and they weren't together at the time. With John and Natalie it's a different story, but who knows who or what kind of John will be showing up. I'd like to believe he won't, but that recap seemed pretty definite. God, I hate him.

I can't be upset about it though. It all just looks so wonderful.

The status of Tea's baby and John and Natalie's relationship will be immediately relevant though, way more so than the Todd and Carly drama. John was on their character list though, remember? I doubt they've abandoned their plans for including him.

There is rumors that Michael Easton is out on the East Coast so I think he'll be filming his scenes which could facilitate his exit from OLTL and go back to GH which I think will help free Natale from John.

PP/TOLN only wants Roger Howarth to play Todd Manning on a more frequent basis.

Doesnt explain him being a dead beat

The status of Tea's baby [is immediately relevant]

Sadly, no, it isn't. That baby died last summer. It shouldn't have - I thought it was a shitty, heartless thing to do to Victor and Tea's fans given that RC was already making them wait for Victor, and I had it on good authority that he intended to resurrect both Victor and Victor III down the line on GH - but he waited too long, as he often does with his plotting, and here we are. I unfortunately don't think solo OLTL will resurrect that kid. It's dead, that's the story. I'm sure Tea and Victor will want to flay Todd alive for what he did, and that it will come up, but is it immediately relevant to plot here and now? No.

"Who Says You've Only Got One Life to Live?"

That was Erika Slezak's words at the end of the recap...that's the words used in the billboard in LA. LOVE IT!

How did PP and TOLN get the rights to use old clips of AMC and OLTL from ABC in those recap videos?
