Carolyn talking to Sonia about how SOD should havve been the vessel o promote these shows and Sonia agreeing, Yuckers.

SOD is Bleh now. Maybe they shoulda talked to Mimi Torchin or the welove soap dudes, Errol & MF. That would have been a good balance. IMO all the others would have not been fair to PP and the shows.

I've been a member of this site for several years and even when I've disagreed with Vee, I've never found him to be annoying or a know-it-all. Frankly, I find your comment quite rude and think you owe Vee an apology for the personal attack and the rest of us an apology for posting such nonsense in this thread since it has nothing to do with the PP version of AMC!

After reading the comments by Fritz Brekeller & Sonia Blangiardo, I'm optimistic that eventually PP will find the funding for another round of AMC, whether on Hulu or a different network.

I've been wondering about Agnes through all of this. This had to be wonderful for her on one hand yet heartbreaking on another.

That said, part of me thinks that the people involved with this project deserve a little time and space before commenting. They worked hard and gave a lot.

They don't seem quite too brokenhearted this time around in either camp, at least not people like Jill or Cady, or Sonia Blangiardo, or Robert Gorrie or Eric Nelsen - possibly, IMO, because the project yielded results this time, but also because to me, at least, it doesn't feel like the end, or like they necessarily believe it is, either.

I wouldn't be surprised by this either. PP's attorneys could ask that any licensing fees due to ABC be waived or put on hold until the case concludes without turning the rights back to ABC, essentially freezing the situation as is.

I haven't read any articles suggesting (yet) that this is likely, but it seems like the most logical thing for PP's attorneys to do. Given how wrapped up the licensing fees and the rights to the shows are to the issues in the case, AND the rumor that PP's licensing fees are due to ABC in January, it just seems likely to me that everything is going to be on hold until the case is settled.

SOD: PP/AMC/OLTL The future

I have not seen the article. This is a paraphrase, in my own words, from a fan who has:

Cady was interviewed. According to her the cast was told by PP they will try again in 2014, "'in a new way and a new fashion,'" and they are not by any means giving up. But they had to make a call right now, and so they had to close up this version of AMC for the present. Cady says PP told them they could all get a call next year saying they '"figured out another way to do this to bring it all back again.'"
